John - Thanks for the news and fw my congrats and best wishes to Mark. I'm very impressed how quickly he has progressed.

OCC - fw news about about Mark Hinnen who started his training with OCC.

Hi Greg....just wanted to update you on our plans for this year.   Mark is now riding with Neil Ross who runs the high performance training centre at McMaster University.   Don't know if you know Neil at all but he coached the national mountainbike team last year and this year is working with the folks at the national training centre.  Mark is currently on a two week training camp with Neil in South Carolina.   Neil has asked Mark to be part of an Ontario team at the Quebec Summer games where he'll race against folks from Switzerland, France and of course Quebec.   Overall I think he's progressing really well.   He's also been getting a ton of encouragement from Michael Barry of US Postal.   Michael e-mails him almost weekly with tips etc.

 

A few months ago he joined Kevin Wallace from Gears and rode around Lake Ontario in five days.   (almost 200K per day)

 

Anyway he is doing a ton of riding.   Chances are we'll see you on the roads sometime this summer.
