Anyone interested in becoming C.O.R.E. cycling certified?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1359 of 1645 |
Hi All.

Most of us have complained about 'spinning' classes not being appropriate
for 'real' cycling. The routines just don't cut it. The CORE drills/work
outs are specific to help you improve as a cyclist on the road, where it
counts.

Clair is looking for people who are interested in becoming certified
C.O.R.E. cycling instructors.

Below are some notes about Clair's course.
Please contact her directly if you have any questions. Her email is in the
CC line above.

If some of you do take the course, please let us (the Oakville Cycling Club)
know where you will be teaching so we can support you.

CyclePath offers spinning at the Bambu Pilates location (right behind them),
but I don't see C.O.R.E. classes. There are 'core' classes, but that is more
'core' body strengthening from what I infer.

You can check them out at:

The C.O.R.E. certification takes place over a weekend for approx 6 hours
each day.

The next one is Nov. 8/9th from 10:30 - 5pm (next weekend)
Location: Wynn Fitness, 1590 Dundas St. E, Miss.
(Some certs are held at Chain Reaction Bike Shop in Etobicoke).

There is another cert held in January.
Or Clair can hold a certification any time there are 7 candidates.

Cost is $350 including C.O.R.E manual
Check out www.corecycling.ca for testimonials

Anyone who already holds a valid spin certification is a candidate for
C.O.R.E level II (advanced cert. catering to cyclists training off season).
This is a one day cert, cost $175
