Hi All,

The design of our club jersey is a challenging task as we want a design that
will be with us for many seasons. We need to accommodate different tastes
and have an eye catching design that will still look attractive in a few
years.

I extend my sincere appreciation for your consideration and voting on the
jersey design.

When people voted, they also made comments for enhancing their favorite
design.
We do need your help one more time for voting on the enhanced design.

Attached are 3 jersey images, which are all based on the jersey design that
gathered the most votes. This initial winner is in the file 'Jersey 1'.

'Jersey 2' has black in it so that it blends with our ubiquitous black bike
shorts, as well as a 'flowing' font, a stylized oak leaf and blue 'fading'
at the neck.

'Jersey 3' has the stylized oak leaf and blue fading at the neck.

Please review the jersey designs and send back the number of the jersey you
would like to wear in 2009 and for the next few years. (ie Jersey 3)

Please respond to me by the end of day Thursday Oct 16th.

I will announce the winner on Friday, Oct 17th and will start taking orders
after the winner is announced.

To place your order, after the winner has been announced, we will need:
1. the jersey size you are ordering (found here:

2. number of jerseys and a
3. cheque to cover the cost of the jersey(s)

The price per jersey is $75.00 including GST, PST and shipping to the OCC
head office from Quebec. The OCC does not put a mark-up / profit on the
jerseys.

Note on your cheque the size and quantity of the jersey(s) you are ordering
so that we have a definitive record of what you ordered and you will as
well. (ie 2 - XL / 1 - M / 3 - S)

On Monday, Oct 27th, we will place our order with Garneau

The jerseys will be scheduled to arrive in approximately 6 weeks (ie 1st
week or 2 in December). We will hold a club meeting (about winter training
schedules) at the start of December and hand out the jerseys to those who
are there. Or you can make other arrangements to pick up your jersey.

We need to order at least 16 jerseys to make up the order to LG. So if you
are thinking of Christmas presents, please order at this time. If you are
thinking of ordering a jersey in the spring, please reconsider ordering it
now. If we don't get an order for 16 jerseys, we MAY have to delay the order
until spring. We don't want that to happen as we all want to be in our new
club jersey for the start of the 2009 season.

Right now, the main item I need you to do is to vote on the jersey that you
think the club should be wearing. Please do that by end of day Thursday, Oct
16th.
