According to a friend this ramp is on/near the Bronte Creek trail north of Dundas that some of us have riden. Be careful and don't attempt any trail or feature that you're not very capable of doing, and then only with a friend to spot and call for help if needed (which this guy luckily had).

BURLINGTON (Oct 6, 2008)
A 37-year-old cyclist is in serious condition in hospital with a severe neck injury after being thrown from his bike.
The Burlington man was riding with a friend in a wooded area between Appleby Line and Bronte Creek Road in Burlington around 8 a.m. yesterday.
The area is a popular spot for cyclists.
They were riding down a hill when the man hit a wooden ramp, attempting to jump it, said Staff Sergeant Robert Lloyd, of the Halton police.
The man landed on the front tire of his mountain bike and was thrown over the handle bars, landing on his head.
The ramp was four metres long and one metre high.
Police said the man was aware the ramp was there.
He was believed to be wearing a helmet, Lloyd said.
The other cyclist called 911 and met the paramedics, firefighters and police at the entrance to the trail.
The friend led the emergency crews to where his companion lay, Lloyd said.
The cyclist was transported in a rescue basket out of the clearing. Paramedics, firefighters and police worked together to carry the man the one kilometre out of the trail and into a clearing.
He was taken to a school bus compound nearby and was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital.
