I used to have leg cramps during long hard rides and races, such as 8 and 24
hour solo mountain bike races. What works for me is:
- ELoad: electrolyte powder drink mix. Available at Cyclepath Oakville. 1.5
scoops per bottle.
- ELoad Ecaps capsules or Hammer Endurolyte electrolyte powder 1-4 caps or tiny
scoops per bottle depending on temperature. Available at Cyclepath.
- Sportlegs capsules are more for aiding muscle recovery and keep the legs
feeling fresh not sore. Since I started taking these my legs recover very
quickly after a 8/24hr race. Available at www.sportlegs.com.

Subject: [Possible SPAM]:**OCC** Salt depletion question
Hi Folks,
Anyone else out there having salt depletion symptoms (leg cramps, nausea,
dizziness, etc)? How did you solve them (salt tablets, pretzels, etc)?
Please let me know what works best as these symptoms are really affecting my
long work outs.
BTW: great season guys, had a lot of fun on the Saturday rides, chasing everyone
on the hills and hammering my legs into paste. See you all next season.
Regards,
Steve
