Thanks in deed!

I (we) never did find out the reason for the recent cancellation of the Badenoch road race. Surely, if it were for the same reason, a quick group e-mail would have yielded a couple of volunteers. As long as I know ahead of time so that I can fit in my training earlier in the day, I am always happy to come out and assist.

Thanks again to all those who support club racing. With the high cost (and rarity these days) of OCA-level racing, club events are very important; they are the backbone of a healthy Provincial (and ultimately National) racing scene. This is the grassroots; this is what introduces many – OF ALL AGES – to racing in a friendly low-stress and non-intimidating environment. Some will move on to bigger challenges at the national or even international levels while many are happy to challenge themselves locally but remember: It all starts here.
