FEATURED ROUTE – PORT HOPE
Every April Port Hope hosts the Float your Fanny Down the Ganny festival to commemorate the floods of 1980. This year the festival is April 7th, so why not make a week-end of it!
Port Hope is a charming heritage town with an excellent selection of B&Bs, shopping, theatre and restaurants, and the Waterfront Trail meanders through it. The Trail features the dedicated handiwork of volunteers that made this Trail possible including benches, bird feeders, gazebo and tributes to the community leaders who played a key role in the Trail's development-The Keith Richan Walkway and the A.K. Sculthrope Memorial Woodland Marsh.
There is great riding in and around Port Hope and we have created a 78 km loop that begins and ends at the Port Hope Town Hall. So tune up your bike, fill up your water bottles, and take a self guided trip to Port Hope.

DISCOVERY LANDING

Where along the Waterfront Trail can you see a 2 meter high tornado? Discovery Landing offers you the chance to see and feel how a tornado forms as well as learn about how Lake Ontario influences our weather and ecosystem. There are over 14,200 square feet to discover, offering a place to break from a bike ride along the Waterfront Trail, an activity after a picnic, or a building to admire during a walk along Burlington’s waterfront.
The Dofasco Waterjet Plaza, beside Discovery Landing, will open on May 19th, offering another unique and fun way to cool off this summer.
Find out more about the Waterfront Trail in Burlington and download a map at: http://www.waterfronttrail.org/trail-p-burlington.html.

Space is limited, the package flexible, and camaraderie is guaranteed.
