I finally put the mtb schedule on the OCC website tonight so I thought i would send you this reminder ...

Alan Lo has generously offered to be the OCC's mountain bike ride coordinator and lead some of the rides as well this year. Below is Alan's introduction and initial ride schedule. Please let Alan know if you are interested in participating in these rides, helping lead other rides, or have ideas for other ride locations. This and future ride information will be posted on the Oakville Cycling Club web site with links to maps/directions - http://www.oakvillecc.com/mtb_schedule.shtml

Hi guys:

 

Thanks for choosing me as your mountain bike leader for your club. I am a spin instructor by trade and compete in races such as Paris Ancaster and 24 hr mountain bike events in the summer months. Some of the proposed club rides at Albion and Mansfield are my actual pre-ride race route for the 24 hrs and 8 hrs events. If you haven't race before, don't be intimidated, come out for the club ride, and maybe you will want do a race in the future. Beginners are totally welcome to participate.

 

Here is the schedule so far:

 

May 26th 7:00pm Meeting at Mansfield

June 2nd 6:30pm Meeting at Kelso

June 9th 7:00pm Meeting at Mansfield

June 16th 7:00pm Meeting at Albion Hills (camping optional)

June 23rd 7:00pm Meeting at Albion Hills

June 30th 6:30pm Meeting at Cyclefit for Oakville Trails
