++OCC executive positions 2006   Message List

Friends:

One of our agenda items for sunday's combined awards/social and AGM will be to
elect YOUR executive for 2006.

A few people have indicated their willingness to stand for positions, while
other positions need people to step up.

Please find below the positions and whether there is someone who would like to
do it or not.
Please understand, if there is a name associated with a position, it does not
mean that you cannot run. Please do so if you would like (or pehaps help the
person already running). This is only provided to suggest areas where we need
extra help going forward.

exec 2006:

President - Tibor has indicated an interest in running

Secretary/information coordinator - we desperately need someone to fill this
position

Treasurer - It would be an honour for me to serve you again as treasurer (Joe
Marangi)

Membership - Omar Orango has indicated an interest

Clothing - Omar Orango has indicated an interest

recreation/group rides - we need someone to fill this position (if Tibor is
going to be president)

Road Racing - Terry has indicated an iterest to serve you again in this position
- while Barry Harbroe has indicated an interest to hel via a vis compiling of
results

Recreational MTB coordinator - we really need someone here

OCA delegate - we need someone here

Oakville Racing Team delegate - Greg Andre-Barrett will stand for this


If you would like to stand for a position (or perhaps help out with the exec as
a member at large (to learn the ropes) please contact Barry Harbroe at:

bryce1@... before sunday or

let Barry know on sunday at the AGM.

Here's the scoop one more time:

The date is: SUNDAY FEB 5th
TIME: 11:30am to 2:30pm
PLACE: THE PLAINSMAN Restaurant
ADDRESS: 261 Highway 5 (just west of highway 6) in Waterdown (i.e.,
clappisons
corners area ). Tel#905-689-6644

FORMAT: we will have a brunch part first 11:30 to 12:30ish.
Afterwhich, we will
start with the awards portion - with AGM elements intertwined - this
way we should be done by 2:30pm
Brunch at the Plainsman is good and reasonably priced at approx $14
(plus tax/tip).

Many of you will also be receiving a call for your RSVP. Please let
one of us know
when we call if you are attending so we can let the restuarat know
some numbers.

If you have already RSVP'd or sent in yur regrets, we thank you.
