If you think that the Mets baseball team is in disarray, think about the
Mets announcing team:
Let C=Gary Cohen; M=Bob Murphy; E=Eddie Colman; R=Howie Rose; H=Keith
Hernandez; T=Ted Robinson; S=Tom Seaver; O=Dave O'Brien; F=Fran Healey;
K=Ralph Kiner; J=Joe Morgan;
Mc= Tim McCarver; B=Joe Buck; G=that Baltimore guy.
----------------------- ---------------------------------------
When you turn on the radio, you'll probably hear Gary Cohen (unless he's
on vacation). The announcing team will be: (C,M) or (C,E), or (C,R), or
(C,T).
On TV, it is a real mess. You may find the game on WPIX, MSG, FSNY,
ESPN, or Fox. Believe it or not, the team I like the most is WPIX's
O'Brien/Seaver. Next best is Fox's team of Buck/McCarver. On Sunday, we
were given a plethora of announcers, with WPIX airing the first game,
and MSG the 2nd. The MSG/FSNY team may consist of any combination of 2
or 3 (if Ralph Kiner joins in) of F, H, T, K, R. EsPN gives us (J,G).
Fox gives us (B,Mc).---------------------------------------------
And while I'm at it,can someone tell Ted Robinson that sometimes,
silence is golden? I'll even trade Ted back to San Francisco for .140
hitting Edgardo Alfonzo, even-up. Keep quiet already Ted. Where is Gary
Thorne when you need him? Bring back Lorne Brown.

WHAT A MESS!!!!!!!!
