It's not just Benitez, though it's comical to see him blow it day in and day
out. Can this guy throw any more meatballs with 2 strikes? He's got no
placement on his pitches.
The Mets are just a bunch of old, underachievers, who are simply outmatched
by younger, more motivated teams.
Let's see...
Cedeno: He's the biggest joke of all. AA talent at best. 1 SB
Alomar: If I see him bunting again when he needs to drive in a runner from
first or second in a game situation, I think I'll pull my hair out. Has
absolutely no baseball instincts.
Floyd: Caught Metsitis
Piazza: Convenient excuse that he got suspended so his timing is off. 0
RBI's all year. Enough said. Even IRod easily outclassing him as the NL's
All Star Catcher isn't motivating him.
Vaughn: Lost weight and still can't hit it in BA.
Wigginton: Ironically, this is the only guy that no one was satisfied with
in the off season.
Burnitz: For a number 7 hitter, he's doing ok.
Sanchez: Will he hit the Mendoza line?
Howe: Where the hell was he when Perez got HBP and was called out swinging?
He should have been down that ump's throat!!! So what if he gets ejected?
Reverse Metsitis: Ventura, Zeile, Ordonez, Mayne, Payton. Anyone know how
Alfonzo's doing?
Ordonez: 1 HR, 10 RBI BA: 0.300+
BTW: The Mets have 0 HR's in Puerto Rico where the power alleys are less
than 360'. They also have 1 SB on the season!
When's football season start?
