Apparently Art Howe has been watching tapes of Bobby Valentine's and
Tony LaRusso's managing style. In 2 stupid moves, Howe is trying to make
a name for himself. We can't call him "the genius", "THE GENIUS" or "The
Genius", as those names are already taken. He takes Glavine (who only
threw 88 pitches) out of the game. Has he never heard of a complete
game? If he wanted Glavine out early, why didn't he pinch hit for him
with the bases loaded and noone out, to try to blow the game open? What
an idiot!! Where is Lou Piniella when we need him?
Imagine being outmanaged by Jeff Torburg, of all people? Suggestions are
being accepted for a nickname for this jerk. I hope he doesn't have a
no-trade clause. Maybe we could trade him to Tampa Bay or Colorado or
Oakland or Houston.
