After two fantastic skates over Memorial Day Weekend, the skating season is off
to a great start, and the Empire
calendar(http://empireskate.org/EmpireSkate.asp?page=/calendar/calendar.html) is
starting to fill up for June. We'll be having Sunday Morning Skates for the next
three weeks, with the Philly Free Skate (6/20-22) and the Connecticut Beach
Skate (6/28) to follow.
This Sunday (6/1), we'll stay in the city for an uptown skate to Fort Tryon Park
and the Cloisters. Meet at Columbus Circle at 11AM.
On Sunday, June 8, we'll skate the ever-popular, traffic-free Bronx River
Parkway in Westchester. Details to follow.
And Sunday, June 15, we'll skate through the Bronx to City Island. Meet at
Columbus Circle at 11AM.
So keep your eye on the calendar at empireskate.org, keep your helmets and
wristguards handy, and get ready to roll!
