Mother Nature was not kind to us on our first attempt to hold an introduction to
group skating on May 18 so we are going to try it again.
Friday May 25th, 2007
6:45 PM
Meet on the West Side Path at 72nd street (by basketball courts)
*This is a fun, easy-paced social skate on NYC's West Side Path.
*Led by Certified Skate Instructors from the Central Park Skate Patrol.
*Improve your basic skating & braking skills.
*Approximately 1 1/2 hours round-trip - from 72nd St to 23rd St and back.
*This is a FREE event - Tell your friends.
Participants MUST have a helmet, wrist guards, and skates with a healbreak.
Unfortunately we can not allow participation without safety gear. We are insured
and this is a requirement of our insurance carrier. We recommend knee pads,
elbow pads, a blinkie, water, and a backpack to carry shoes.
Spread the word to your family, friends and colleagues that this is a great
opportunity to learn the basics of skating from experienced certified in-line
skate instructors while meeting new people while having a great time.
If it is raining or the ground is wet the skate will be canceled.
