Hello New York Skaters,

Penny Crone of Fox 5 Good Day New York will be doing
a segment on skating in New York City and has invited
all of us to be a part of it.

She would like to show us strutting our stuff and interview us
about skating in NYC. She also wants to try on a pair of
skates and is hoping we can help her get on her feet with them.

We need to meet at the band shell in Central Park this Tuesday
morning (May 24) at 6:30am. We will first meet Penny and the Fox team,
prepare for the segment and then at 7:00, Penny will give a live
show for 30 seconds to tease the audience. There will be a few more
quick (30 second) spots over the next 45 minutes and then the hour will
end with us.

Please email me if you would like to attend. I will be speaking with
Fox 5 on Monday afternoon to confirm that we have enough people to make
this spot interesting. I expect at least 25 and perhaps as many as
100 (or more) of us to show up.

I found out that Penny wears a size 8 woman's shoe. If someone could bring
an extra pair of size 8 skates with them and if someone could also bring some
extra pads for Penny, we can get her fitted up and rolling with us.

It would also be good if we could get some cones set up to give a little
demonstration. The camera will be on us, so let's give a good show.
