A traditional hat tournament is happening in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. Show up
to the ball
fields around noon and look for the flying discs to get in on the action.
For island-bound residents of Manhattan who do not have a passport, interest is
gathering to
play at a yet to be determined time in Central Park's beautiful dust bowl on New
Year's Day.
Take your chances and just show up when the skies clear (showers forecast), or
wait for a
"GAME ON" announcement based on the response to this email, which will be sent
out to the
group if sufficient numbers respond to this posting. So, who's up for ultimate
in Central Park
on Tuesday afternoon?
HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!
PS. And for anyone new to this group, there is ongoing pick-up at the dust bowl
(97th St.
and 5th Ave. in Central Park) on Sunday afternoons starting at 12:30 p.m.
