It appears that the previously "scheduled" games will be cancelled due to field
closures and
weather conditions.

I would recommend if anyone is really determined to play today (from either
group) to just
convene on the dust bowl, which has prime surface conditions in this weather, if
not a little
muddy. But we have played in such conditions many, many times in the past, and
it's plenty
of fun, but we would need sufficient numbers for me to announce a game.

Let me put it this way. If it was sunny now, and we started a game, and then it
started to rain,
would you continue to play? Would it be fun?

I am putting this announcement out the NYCPUL community for a "show of hands"
who would
be willing to show up at the dustbowl, say 1:30 pm for a determined game of
ultimate. If 14
players confirm, I will announce game on to the group.

This message was sent as a service to all players whose addiction for ultimate
outweighs
their common sense to stay inside. After all what is an ultimate player made of
anyway?
