Amir Lopatin founded New York City Public Ultimate League back in 2001.
Unfortunately,
on March 25th, 2004, Amir was tragically taken from us. In his memory, we are
pleased to
announce that the Second Annual Amir's Ride will take place on the morning of
September
10, 2006. All proceeds from Amir's Ride will benefit the Amir Lopatin Memorial
Fund.

The ride will take place along a beautiful 9-mile stretch of the New Jersey
Palisades along
the Hudson River, beginning just north of the George Washington Bridge at the
Ross Dock
Area in Fort Lee, NJ. There will be various courses for riders of all levels,
with the longest
ride being a full loop of 18 miles. On site registration will begin at 9am
followed by
Opening Ceremonies at 9:30am. The Ride itself will begin at 10am.

Don't bike? Come out anyway! You can run, rollerblade or walk the course. Or you
can be
there to cheer, eat, schmooze and enjoy the park. Have young kids? We will have
incredible programming for children including arts and crafts! So please bring
them!

We are currently seeking sponsors for the event. Sponsors names will be featured
prominently, including on the back of the event t-shirts, and the full amount of
their
donations will be acknowledged for tax purposes. If you are willing to sponsor,
