A quick note to all regarding Sunday playing this Summer before the MD Holiday.

 

Rest of May: If you are here this weekend, please come out and play pick up Sunday afternoon. I haven't been out there lately (work, ugh) but I am certain folks are gathering sometime after 2:30p or so. For those who are new: East North Meadow dirt field (99th street and 5th avenue entrance).

 

June Sundays: we do not have a permit for the dirt field (a youth soccer league has it). I'll check it out and let y'all know if they end early and its something we can work out (just starting later kind of thing). Wait further info from June 4...or check it out yourself.

 

But do come out and play. There's a Saturday game (usually around 3pm) and afterwork on Tues, Wed and maybe Thursday. Same location.

 

July-August: Adult Co-Ed Summer league will start on Sunday July 8. This will be team play and no walk ons are allowed. Registration will begin June 1st online. I will send the site address on June 1. Registration will be open until June 18. Then the draft will be on June 19 or 20. Only captains will be present for the draft.

 

Details about the draft will be sent on June 1st. No questions needed now. If you are getting this message, you'llbe getting the summer league registration message. I encourage all to consider and play some pick up in the meantime and get yourselves known. This will help the captains in the draft (in addition to the skill set questions you will answer in the registration).
