Join TEAM 8 for Spring League 2006.

Games will start on Sunday, April 9th, and run every Sunday, except
for May 13th (Mother's day), when games will be on the 12th instead.
Finals are Saturday May 20th. The regular season is held at Tibbetts
park in Yonkers and finals will be at SUNY Purchase. Every team will
play 9 games and every team will be eligible for the finals.

TEAM 8 is considered the "Wild Card" team, the last sign up to join
Spring league, led by the great Alex Felson, Gregg Romanzo and a few
of their most trusted veterans and some upcoming most valuable
players. We are looking for height, so if you know anyone reasonably
athletic in the 6'8" range (give or take a few inches), have them
sign up... even if Stretch has never handled a disc, we'll teach him
the basics. We are looking for speed (not the kind you take), in any
human form so long as he or she can catch. And, we are looking for a
couple gals to make the gender ratio. Seriously, we are looking for
some talented players who play well, love the game and understand
the
spirit of the game. We are there to be competitive, but only with the
greatest enjoyment!

Rosters are due FRIDAY MARCH 31st! Even if you already know that you
cannot make a full commitment to the schedule, but can make as many
as half the games, please send us your name immediately.

PS: For those of you who have decided that playing in the Dust Bowl
is bad for your health (it is), this is a great opportunity to play
in a competitive league on decent fields. Don't delay sending in your
full name, gender, a simple description of skill level, and how many
games you will be likely to attend.
