Forget those plans to stay home and clean out the closet. Put off
going out shopping for that special Valentine's Day gift... Do not go
off to one of those "other" games elsewhere in this city, BECAUSE...
THIS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 12th, IS SNOWLTIMATE SUNDAY!!!
All able bodied ultimate players are hearby directed to show up in the
East Meadow (a.k.a. "dustbowl") 98th St. and 5th Ave. at 1:30 p.m. for
a spirited game of snowltimate (we are expecting a foot of snow on the
ground by then).
If you do not have gloves, pick a pair of Doug Propp patented playtex
dishwashing gloves (yes, the bright yellow ones), if you want to have
any control with handling or catching (although they will NOT keep
your hands warm at all). You might try lining them with thin cotton
gloves, as temps will be in the thirties.
But do NOT be disuaded. This will be the BIG ONE, the season
spectacular Snowltimate Sunday!
Peace.
