Hello everyone:

Well, somehow the UPA has accepted our 4/3 mixed bid to the Youth Club
Championships. We are still looking for a few more players (anyone
under age 18 as of June 1st this year is welcome, male or female) and
chaperones (over age 25) to come with us to Minnesota in August,
leaving Friday evening the 12th and returning Sunday evening the 14th.

We will hold a practice today (Tuesday, July 12th) at Van Cortlandt
Park in Riverdale from 5:30 to 7. We're meeting on the Broadway side
of the main fields, 100-200 yards down from the exit off the West Side
Highway. Email me if you're interested, or just show up.

The YCC, to briefly repeat myself, is a new event this year, bringing
youth teams together from all around the country. Our team isn't quite
as organized as some of the others, but we're gonna go and have fun
all the same.

All the best, and sorry I haven't been at pickup lately... I'll try to
come on Wednesday or Thursday.
