Hi Lara!

There are several local groups that do pick-up and others forming
teams for spring...

Currently we are mostly doing weekend pick-up games, but we will soon
start playing during the week, although the time and place is to be
determined

Pick-up in Manhattan is currently played Saturday and Sunday
afternoons, although there is occasionally a Wednesday night game (but
that is late..starting around 9 p.m.). We play on a field not far from
98th and 5th Ave. in Central Park starting around 2 p.m. There are
also regular games same time in Propect Park on the ballfields.

There is a Spring league forming in Brooklyn and a Westchester Spring
league (also Saturday games).
There is also a Westchester summer league (check out www.wudi.org) and
I know of at least 3 teams looking for female players (you "guys" are
always in demand). If you want to play "club" level, the Westchester
games are on Saturday starting in mid-april...and if you look into it,
you will find a team for this co-ed league. This is currently the most
developed level of play in the area if you are experienced. We also
have a co-ed league during the Summer and Fall in Central Park.

If you are ever in the city on the weekends, the Central Park games
are a lot of fun...(there are a couple games depending on day), let us
know...typically Sat. and Sun. after 2 p.m.
