Hi folks,
Any of you nycpulers missing the competition of
organized play? Why not try out WUDi this spring,
(Westchester Ultimate Disc, inc.) and test your skills
against some of the finest players in the country?
Tired of coming home from ultimate dusty and scraped
up by potholes, broken glass, and stray syringes? Make
the trip of to the lush green fields of SUNY purchase
on saturdays or sundays for a month or two and
remember again what it feels like when your knees dive
on soft green grass just as your outstretched hand
grabs the disc before it hits the ground.
Sound tempting? WUDi is expanding it's spring league
this year to 11 teams, so there's a lot more room for
players. I'm captaining one of the expansion teams
this year, and right now I'm looking for female
players primarily. At some point I may need men, but I
have to fill 4-5 open spots with women first (in case
they have any men they'd like to bring along). So, if
you're a woman and you're interested in playing,
please drop me a line. If you're a guy and you know me
personally, drop me a line too and we'll chat.
This team will have a relaxed and friendly vibe. We've
got people who are relatively inexperience, some
who've played on the highest levels, and some
inbetwee, so this will be a learning and teaching
experience for everyone involved.

Hope to see you on the fields...
