Amir, I forgot to mention that Gaia also supplies 'technical' shirts, made out of the synthetic wicking material for $10's a pop if >100 are ordered otherwise they are $15 each.  They come in 9 different colors, (convenient for our 8 team league).  If you want to call Sean Adam's his number is: 604-899-3641.

I prefer your original plan about having 8 teams, 1 hour games once a week.  It's a bit short but I think the best balance of ideas, (IMHO).

I can look into getting liability insurance.  If that requires setting up a non-profit as well, I could probably do that too.  Can you contact me Amir, and let me know what stuff you already have.  If there are any lawyers/insurance people out there or anyone else that would like to help with this that would be cool.

The soccer field is very large but I doubt it is big
enough to have two good games going on simultaneously.
It may be possible but the fields would have to be
slightly narrow and be abutting. My guess is that the
field is around 70 yards wide by 120 yards long.  That
is more than enough room for an official ultimate
field (40x120) but not two unless we play with
slightly skinny fields.

Yes we can but I am not worried about someone
embezzling as much as I am worried about the potential
liability assumed by the organziers of the league.

New York City _Public_ Ultimate League. Also it makes
the acronym sound like nice pull ;)

One final note:
One person commented that he thinks one hour games are
too short and I think I concur but I dont know what to
do about it other than make each game two hours,
reduce the # of teams to 6 and make it so that 2 teams
dont play in any given week. This, of course will
limit the number of players and make things more
expensive per player. What do people think of this
alternative?

Deborah, you mentioned to me that you knew someone
that could give us access to some school fields for
free. What is that perons contact info?

Finally, any volunteers for Fentons well organized
action item list? I volunteer for t-shirt design. I am
emailing you guys a design i just made on
www.customink.com . let me know what you think.
