Fundraiser for Lake Oswego/Lakeridge Ski Teams!! Sell your old gear-skis,
boards, boots, clothing, kids gear! Drop off October 15 (Saturday), 12:00
Noon to 5:00pm. 30% consignment fee to ski teams. All unsold items must

2005 SKI FAIR - November 9, 2005, Monarch Hotel, Clackamas, OR
12566 SE 93rd Avenue, Clackamas, OR (I-205 & Sunnyside Road, Exit 14, West
Side of 205)
Take advantage of this early opportunity to visit with snowsport industry
reps, see new fashions, and visit other club members. Doors open at 6:00
pm. Admission is FREE and this event is open to the public-so invite all
your co-workers, friends & neighbors. The show highlights ski/snowboard
resorts, retailers and clubs. Also a fashion show, safety programs, racing
programs, and helmet sales. No host beverages available. The SILENT
AUCTION will offer some awesome ski trips and equipment. For more

$295. This night only. If you purchase the same pass at the ski shows, you

At SKI FAIR, we're having a Silent Auction and Raffle to benefit the many
programs who receive NWSCC's support, including the new Mt. Hood Museum,
Northwest Snow Sport Foundation, Special Olympics, and many others. Any
prize you are willing to donate for this exciting and fun event will be
appreciated! Items should be new-suggestions range from ski
equipment/clothing; lift tickets; services such as restaurants/catering,
sports, entertainment, gift-theme baskets, just about anything you can think
of!! In return for your support, you will be listed in our program with
telephone numbers and/or web site information (if you wish), and we'll also
display any promotional literature that you provide.

AMTRAK EMPIRE BUILDER - CALLING ALL TRIP LEADERS:
NWSCC and AMTRAK invite you to tour the newly enhanced Empire Builder. Group
limit is 15 to 20. Trip leaders will be reserved first.
Tues, Wed, & Thurs are the best days for tours. The best time to view the
train is between 2:30 & 3:30 pm just before the passengers are pre-boarded.
The tour is contingent on the train being available (ie, no difficulties
with prep for outbound that day). Please sign up at SKI FAIR if you are
interested in this tour.
Whistler / Blackcomb
April 6 - 9, 2006. The S'no Joke ski club in Seattle is inviting us all to
join them on their trip to Whistler. Price: $342 if you drive. Add $155 for
bus from Portland. Lodging at the Delta Village Suites, 1 dinner, daily
continental breakfast, and 1 First Tracks breakfast with early skiing
privileges is included.
Most likely, people from Portland will be carpooling, or driving on their
