MT. BAKER has expanded its operational schedule and will be open daily

operation with all lifts running out of the White Salmon Base Area.

THE SUMMIT AT SNOQUALMIE is re-opening on April 1. Summit West will be open
April 1-3 (9:00 to 4:00 pm). Alpental will be open -- for the first time

WHITE PASS will open on April 2 with 100% of its terrain, an 80 inch base at
the summit elevation and nearly three feet of snow in the base area. White
Pass will be open daily April 2-10, then again on April 15-17. Then, White
Pass will run Saturday and Sunday only -- weather permitting -- through May
1.

SILVER MOUNTAIN saw three feet of snow in three days which will allow them
to resume operations this weekend (April 2-3). All chairlifts will operate
and nearly 100 percent of the terrain will be accessible. The gondola will
begin loading at 7:30 am (April 2). Chairlifts will begin operating at 8:30
am.

SCHWEITZER MOUNTAIN will re-open on April 2-3, with uphill conveyance on
Musical Chairs, Great Escape Quad, and Chair One. The resort does not plan
to operate midweek again this year.

STEVENS PASS will re-open on Saturday, April 2. Stevens Pass will operate
the Hogsback, Skyline, Tye Mill, and 7th Heaven chairlifts from 9:00 am to
4:00 pm. Any decision to operate beyond April 2-3 will be predicated by
weather conditions. An announcement will be made on Monday, April 4.

All skiers should be encouraged to check Washington state ski area websites,
or call 206.634.0200.

OREGON RESORTS also have plenty of new snow. All report fantastic ski
