The entertainment includes activities like Sunday's Halfpipe Jam, which

Skiers and snowboarders can session the pipe while Salomon Oasis staff blast
music and emcee the action. At 2 pm Sunday afternoon, following the Halfpipe
Jam, Salomon will be raffling off over $3,000 in equipment and apparel
including a pair of Salomon skis of choice to one lucky winner. Ticket stubs
for the raffle can be obtained free of charge at the Oasis Registration tent

The Mt. Bachelor Ski Education Foundation, together with Mt. Bachelor, want
to assure everyone that this year's race will not be cancelled due to low
snow.
The U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle is a multi-sport event involving teams,
pairs, and individuals who alpine ski, cross-country ski, bike, run,
kayak/canoe, and sprint to the finish. The course begins at Mt. Bachelor
and ends in the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend on May 14, 2005. "Our plan,
as usual, is to have a great Alpine leg to start the race and a
Cross-Country leg of some type, although it may differ from the usual course
in length and/or location," said Race Director Kalisha Fleischmann. "With
Mt. Bachelor's excellent job this season of grooming and preserving the snow
at the mountain, we are confident that this year's race will give the
participant's everything they expect from this long standing Central Oregon
tradition," stated MBSEF Executive Director Chuck Kenlan. "Skiing is great
right now with plenty of sunshine and our crews are providing excellent
grooming and snow maintenance. We are fully committed to this MBSEF event
and will do absolutely everything we can to offer the snow legs of the
relay," explained Carly Carmichael, Director of Marketing for Mt. Bachelor.
The U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle is produced by and benefits the Mt. Bachelor
Ski Education Foundation, the leading Northwest sports training organization
