72nd ANNUAL GOLDEN ROSE SKI CLASSIC
June 4, 2005
Timberline Ski Area together with The Northwest Snowsports Foundation
cordially invites you to participate in the Golden Rose Ski Classic.
Be part of history and join us for the longest, continually run ski race in
North America. Make up a team of 7 ski racers and send your registration
form in today. Race order will be assigned when registration forms are
received. Teams must have one female racer. Teams consist of eight racers.
The drawing for the eighth racer will take place at the Mt. Hood Brew Pub
pre-registration party Friday June 3rd. The pool of racers to draw from
will consist of local celebrities and NWSSF recipients. The time of the
eighth racer will count in the event of a tie.
The Golden Rose Ski Classic afternoon social activities are fund raisers for
both the Northwest Snowsports Foundation(NWSSF) and the Mt. Hood Ski
Education Foundation. The NWSSF will be hosting the silent auction as one
of the afternoon activities. NWSSF promotes the development of junior snow
sport competitors throughout the Pacific Northwest through monetary
scholarships. NWSSF has contributed to nearly 50 local racers. The MHSEF
will host a raffle; net proceeds will help support MHSEF, one of the premier
Western Ski Academies.
Be part of the afternoon activities and support these non-profit
organizations. Join in the fun, who knows, you might even win the grand
prize drawing or out bid a rival racer at the silent auction.
For more information or to register your team, contact Camille Greenslade at
