SEASON PASS INSURANCE:
Here is some information about season pass insurance with accident insurance coverage. I thought some of our members might want to look into this. Link: www.skierinsurance.com
"Season passes can be a real bargain but, as most are non-refundable/non-transferable, they may be a 'use-it-or-lose-it' proposition. Experienced skiers know that an unplanned occurrence can arise, before or during the ski season. Missing out on skiing is bad enough -- but to lose your investment in a season pass (cross-country or downhill) would be even more disappointing."
"That's where this insurance program comes in. It covers loss of use due to a covered injury or illness. In addition, other valuable benefits are provided while skiing at the resort which issues your season pass. For example, if you are injured on the slopes and require evacuation -- even by helicopter -- this program covers you up to $15,000. That's important whether you have health insurance or not! In addition, Accidental Death/Dismemberment Insurance up to $10,000 is provided." Cost of insurance is based on price of the season pass, less that $7 per hundred. Quote is $28 for insurance on a $400 4x4 pass at Mt. Hood Meadows. Link to press release and related articles: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2004/10/prweb165930.htm
Thanks!! Happy Thanksgiving!
