Mt. Hood Meadows SEASON PASSES GO ON
The price of going down hill at Mt. Hood Meadows will remain the same this season, as resort officials have announced that season pass prices will be held to last year’s prices. The popular passes will go on sale on the resort’s web site www.skihood.com beginning September 1.
Season pass prices range from $95 for a child to $795 for an adult, with several age, family and specialty passes offered in between. Enthusiasts will receive the best pricing on season passes purchased before September 30th, as prices increase an average of $100 each after that date. Mt. Hood Meadows offers a variety of passes, ranging from an Unlimited which provides access to every lift every day of the winter season, to a Night pass for $195 which is good after 4:00 PM on the evenings the resort offers night skiing. There is also a Midweek pass for $595 for those who can get away midweek, avoiding the busier weekends. There are also discounts based on ages, and discounts for adults who purchase in a family package.
Especially popular are the discounted Unlimited passes for ages 7 – 14 for just $195; and 15 – 22 for $395. There are also family incentives which offer from $100 to $400 discounts off of the adult Unlimited prices for parents who purchase passes with their children, or married couples who purchase passes together. Families who purchase Meadows season passes together can add pass privileges at Cooper Spur Ski Area, Meadows sister resort, for just $99 total. Cooper Spur offers skiing and snowboarding and a tubing center.
