NWRowing.us is for open-water rowing enthusiasts and those interested in joining a group of inveterate barnacles that love to be out on the water or at Archers Brew Pub. Group members let us know who is going out rowing on a particular day/specific location via this Yahoo email threads. (Membership to the yahoo group is now by permission, to keep out telemarketers and group surfers.) If you would love to open-water row, and/or learn how to row, come join the comraderie of leisurely rows from Fairhaven to Chuckanut, or up Boulevard Park to Squalicum, and sometimes to Eliza, Lummi, or Portage Islands. We also row Lakes Whatcom, Sammish and Padden. At least once a year, we schedule a three-day group row to a San Juan Island destination and camp and row among the islands.

This thread is how we communicate and is the most effective way to get help if you want to learn how to row, or where you can get a boat to row.
