Hi folks, I just started subcribing to this group and I want to know
if there are any pulling clubs in Southeast Texas. I'm willing to
travel to other places, once I have had a tractor up and running. My
name is Mark Wood and I have a Bolens Husky, belt to drive shaft
drive system and a 18HP Magnum horizontal shaft Kohler engine to
start with.

We will be having a pull August 31, 2002 in Tiffin, Ohio. Will have 4
NQS classes and currently $3900 in added money and contingencies. It
is in a covered building with two 250 foot tracks (Rain or Shine).
The Slam sled out of Wisconsin will be there. $35 entry fee - We will
have Pros, Supers, 30CID, 16 S/A. Minimum purse will be $400 to win
for pros/ supers & $200 to win for 30CID and 16 S/A. Following the
NQS Classes there will be 4 Local Classes 12hp S/A, 8hp S/A, 20hp S/A
Twins, and 14hp Pure Stock.

club's rules are different so check with whom you'll be pulling with.

Inside the motor, last one was at the flywheel. It was still
connected so hopefully rod can be saved. We even run a custom made
billet aluminum bearing plate made to fit with our heavy flywheel. We
took it to Don's Sunday and dropped it off, he says everybody's been
breaking them, says he'll work it out with Julian. Don't know about
the weekend, got some car shows to go to if the tractor's still dead.
Got a Camaro with a 900hp blown big block in it now. I had about $600
in that crank with everything done to it, it was the only piece on
the motor I figured I'd never have to touch again, go figure.
