Nittany Wrestling Federation present...
Y2K1: Yutzak 2001
8:30 PM - Saturday, January, 20, 2001
White Building, Penn State Campus,
State College, PA

FREE ADMISSION

Preview courtesy of: http://www.empusa.net/nwf

The Nittany Wrestling Federation kicks off a brand new year of action this Saturday at 8:30 PM in the White Building on Penn State campus. Once again we are pleased to announce that admission will be 100% FREE!

At the last NWF event of 2000, entitled "State Penn," Team Too Phat defeated Million Dollar Wendal's Risk Management team in an 8-man survivor match, and as a result Million Dollar Wendal has been banned from the NWF forever!

Also at the event we saw two title changes as Yutzak Arafat captured the NWF title for the third time and The Damned reclaimed the NWF Tag Team Titles!

Here are the matches slated for Y2K1:
1. Dream Partner Tag Team Match: "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat vs. Tommy Golden. Each man will be able to choose a partner from the entire NWF roster to fight in this tag team encounter. At the last event Golden was stripped of the title as he vacationed in Cancun. Arafat recaptured the gold in a #1 contender's match against Fumar. The Golden-Arafat rivalry is one of the most fierce in all of pro-wrestling, as Golden has time after time used underhanded tricks to defeat Arafat. Clearly him being stripped of the NWF title will only serve to add more fuel to this already combustible match.

2. University Park Title: Fumar vs. Shawn Storm. At the last NWF event, Kidd Krazy seemingly captured the University Park Title from a man wearing a mask and claiming to be Fumar. However, NWF officials later reversed the decision and restored Fumar to the title when it was determined that the man in the mask was not actually Fumar, but a man who has called himself "Fumar II." With that in mind, NWF officials have booked a title defense for Fumar against Penn State's own Shawn Storm. Storm and Fumar have fought before in a great match and this one should be just as exciting.

3. Tommy Idol vs. "Simply Astonishing" Kevin KanEvil. Tommy Idol returns to the NWF to make his second appearance as he takes on Kevin KanEvil. KanEvil, in his short time in the NWF, has already battled for the NWF Title and has been impressing fans with his work in the ring. However as we have seen, KanEvil's Achilles' heel has been his arrogance. While a veteran wrestler would seek to put his opponent away as quickly as possible, KanEvil has a wont to play with his opponents, picking them up before a referee could finish a three count. However when KanEvil is focused he is very difficult to defeat. If Idol can exploit KanEvil's arrogance then he should be able to pick up the victory. But if KanEvil is focused, Idol could be in for a long night.

4. "Mind & Matter," the team of Don Juan Desanto and Dr. Heresy, are still smarting from their loss of the NWF Tag Team Titles to "The Damned" at the last NWF event. They look to take out their aggression against a mysterious tag team from the Far East. The only thing the NWF has been able to learn about these competitors is that they have just completed a tour of Japan and are looking to make their mark in North America.

5. Draven McKnight vs. Bax. These two newcomers to the NWF will square off in a light heavyweight contest. Both are seeking to impress NWF officials and climb up the ladder to title contention.

Nittany Wrestling Federation presents...
"PENN STATE: STATE PENN"
8:30 PM - Saturday, November 18, 2000
White Building, Penn State Campus
FREE ADMISSION

This is the final time you will be able to see the superstars of the NWF in action in the year 2000, and the NWF is expecting record crowds to attend this Saturday's latest free-per-view exrravaganza, "State Penn." "State Penn" has traditionally been the biggest night of the year for the NWF, as it all started two years ago with the epic no-holds-barred title match between then-champion "LiveWire" Dave Desire and "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat. That match was a lumbjerack match with athletes from various Penn State sports acting as the lumberjacks! Last year, State Penn was witness to the "Ohio State" invasion as "Rapid Delivery" Rory Fox and Chip Fairway fought on the show.

With all of that history in mind, this year's "State Penn" is shaping up to be the biggest NWF show in history! Here are the confirmed matches as we know them right now:

1. EIGHT MAN SURVIVOR MATCH:
TEAM TOO PHAT vs. RISK MANAGEMENT (w/Million Dollar Wendal)

TEAM TOO PHAT: "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat, Draven, Mad Dog, mystery man

RISK MANAGEMENT: Tommy Golden, "Simply Astonishing" Kevin KanEvil, Don Juan Desanto, Dr. Heresy

STIPULATIONS:
1. This will be an elimination-style tag match, and wrestlers can be eliminated by pinfall, submission, countout, or DQ. The team that can eliminate all four members of the opposing team will be declared the winners.
2. If Risk Management wins, then "Million Dollar" Wendal will become full owner of the NWF. If Team Too Phat wins, then Wendal will have to leave the NWF forever!

2. NWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
Tommy Golden (w/Million Dollar Wendal) vs. "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat

STIPULATIONS:
1. There is an "unannounced" stipulation for this match! The stipulation will be revealed this week on NWF radio.

3. NWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
"Mind & Matter" (w/Million Dollar Wendal) vs. "The Damned"

4. UNIVERSITY PARK CHAMPIONSHIP:
Fumar vs. a mystery opponent

5. GRUDGE MATCH:
"Simply Astonishing" Kevin KanEvil (w/Million Dollar Wendal) vs. Shawn Storm

For more information, keep checking the NWF website!
http://www.empusa.net/nwf

Also NWF columnist Ryan Allen has provided an in-depth preview of "State Penn" in this edition of the NWF newsletter!

"The Real Deal" (11/14/00)
by Ryan Allen

Hello to all of you NWF marks, and welcome to my party.  I'm not one for wasting time, so let me introduce myself.  My name is Ryan Allen.  I'm the Real Deal.  And this is how it is:

Let's start off with our own wonderful federation, and the best damn indy fed in the country, the NWF:

Coming up this Saturday, November 18th @ 8:30 pm - Live! from the White Building, will be without a doubt, the BIGGEST free-per-view extravaganza this campus has ever seen!  PENN STATE: STATE PENN!

State Penn is shaping up to be the greatest card the NWF has ever assembled, and promises to deliver some of the best wrestling action anywhere.  As always, admission to the show is absolutely free!  And everyone who comes to the show will have the opportunity to be entered into a raffle to win over $100 worth of free stuff!  After the football game on Saturday and before you're ready to hit the party scene, come check out our last show of 2000!  Here's how the card for State Penn is shaping up:

"Simply Astonishing" Kevin KanEvil w/ Million Dollar Wendall vs. Shawn Storm
As usual, Wendall will stack the deck in KanEvil's favor.  Remember also, after an impressive showing at Riot 2000 that saw Storm pull off the upset,  he was pummeled by KanEvil and the NWF champion, Tommy Golden, and saved from serious injury only thanks to former champion, Yutzak Arafat.  Even with all of the hatred Storm has for KanEvil and Risk Management, I think with Wendall there it's just a little to much.
My pick: Kevin KanEvil (w/ help from Mr. Wendall)

Fumar (champion) vs. a mystery opponent - for the University Park title
One thing is for sure, Fumar doesn't accept failure.  After "Rapid Fire" beat "California" Chris Christian (a supposed friend of Fumar's) at Riot 2000, Fumar beat both of the men senseless after the match and fired "California" Chris Christian.  Fumar doesn't f.... oops, we're not ECW yet so let me start that again... Fumar doesn't screw around.
My Pick: Fumar to retain his title

Mind and Matter w/ Million Dollar Wendall (champions) vs. The Damned - NWF Tag titles
Well, there is no love loss in this one.  Dr. Heresy and Don Juan DeSanto (M&M) have proven themselves again and again in the NWF.....as the most annoying (and "iffy") tag team (anyone notice those purple outfits?) ever to grace the NWF ring.  Unfortunately for these two though, their tag belts are going to be up for grabs, and Draven and Mad Dog (the Damned) have been chomping at the bit to get their hands on the champs and on the titles that they still believe are rightfully theirs.  The last match between these two teams was a street fight, and don't expect any less from this one.  Mind and Matter may have held their belts once against the Damned, but after being recognized as one of the hottest up-and-coming teams in the Indy wrestling world, the Damned are going to be a tall task for Mind and Matter to overcome, even with Wendall at ringside.
My Pick: the Damned to be crowned new tag team champions!

Tommy Golden (champion) vs. "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat - NWF Heavyweight title
There is too much history between these two to even BEGIN to tell you about it all.  If you want to see it all, be sure to check out the NWF website at http://www.empusa.net/nwf/.  At Riot 2000 Mr. Wendall revealed that Tommy Golden was his hired gun to try and take out the then NWF champion Arafat.  After wreaking havok all night with his "Jackpot" finishing move (similar to a pedigree), and helping KavEvil nearly destroy Shawn Storm, Golden (with help from Wendall, and the special guest referee Fumar) managed to defeat Arafat, becoming the first ever 3-time NWF champion!  To top it off, this is going to be a stipulation match...will it be a ladder match?  (let's remember the classic from April '99 VIP - Arafat/Fumar)  Or will it be a no holds barred match? (we already got a taste of some steel chairs, metal sheets, and tables at the Riot 2000) Or will it be something new for the NWF?  The first ever Nittany Cage match?  A Tables and Ladders and Chairs match? Maybe we'll get our Bra and Panties match?.....on second thought, let's hope if we get that it's not for the NWF title....but hey, you never know.  All that you do know, is these two guys hate each other, but you gotta wonder if either of them will be in any shape for the main event - 8-man survivor match?  This one is like the election (thanks to the morons in Florida) - too close to call!

MAIN EVENT ~ 8-Man survivor match * Control of the NWF/ Mr. Wendall leaves town match:
Team Too Phat (Arafat, the Damned, & mystery man) vs. Risk Management (Golden, KanEvil & Mind and Matter)
This is the most important match in the HISTORY of the NWF.  On the line - the entire federation...that's right.  If the Risk Management team wins, Mr. Wendall gets total control of the NWF.  If team Too Phat wins though, Mr. Wendall will have to take his fat wallet (along with his fat mouth) out of the NWF for good.  Is it worth the Risk?  Well everyone, this one needs no hype.  You take 8 of the best wrestlers in the history of the NWF (including it's 2 most prominent champions in Arafat and Golden) and make it worth more than any other match any of these men have ever wrestled in, and you have what promises to be a fitting end to quite possibly, the best card the NWF has ever seen.  As for a prediction on this match,  I'd love to see Wendall gone, but let's face it...he's always got something up his sleeve.  All I can say is come check it out this Saturday!

Remember also to check out our shows, Monday from 5-6pm on Campus Channel 21 and Thursday from 6:30 - 7 on "The Lion" 90.7 fm, where the announcement of the stipulation for the Golden-Arafat title match will happen, and to hear other breaking news in the big 3 and the wrestling world in general!

Here's what I see in the big 3 - keep in mind that this is completely biased and based on my opinion, but it's right because I say it is:

ECW:
SCOTT HALL!  And you all thought he was passed out in a gutter somewhere!  Well I for one am a huge Scott Hall fan, and I'm glad to see him back and lookin great.  I wish him the best, and I hope he can keep focused because I think he's one of the best in the business on the mic, and he's got enough skill in the ring to really help ECW.  I think ECW is a good time-slot away from trampling over WCW in the ratings.  Week in and week out, ECW puts on a good show and with guys who pour their hearts and souls into wrestling.  Forget about the fact that half of the guys who are big timers in WWF and WCW came from ECW, they still have a number of guys in their own fed who are stars in their own right.  Namely, Justin Credible who is (next to HHH) maybe the best heel in the business, and Rob Van Dam, who may be the best anywhere in the ring and on the mic.  I think it's great to see them keep pushing some of the other guys too, including Jerry Lynn, and current champion Steve Corino.  With others also like Rhino and New Jack, and the lengths these guys go to for a pop out of the crowd, I give ECW all the credit in the world and I say keep up the good work.

WCW:
Well, to be fair to WCW, I'll list what they are doing well, and what makes me want to do anything OTHER than watch WCW:

GOOD:....atleast they don't do shows everyday?...actually, Scott Steiner, Buff Bagwell (my personal fav in WCW), Kevin Nash (hey I still find him amusing), Kidman (I bet he's kicking himself for not comin to the WWF though),Mike Awesome, Lance Storm, Jeff Jarret and Booker T- they have the talent....
BAD: EVERYTHING
Where to begin?  David Arquette was officially a WCW champion (isn't it bad enough that he's nailing Courtney Cox?); David Flair is ANYWHERE as a wrestler; after "stealing Mike Awesome from ECW, they put him into the tremendously intimidating role of "that 70s guy"...i know i'm scared....; I know people were sick of the "old blood" but do you have anyone who can give an interview?; it was nice of the Cat to give Bischoff's kid karate lessons, but he's about as interesting as belly-button lint and his dancing is even worse; the Cat is about as interesting as they get in WCW; names like General Rection; poor production, the camera shots make the wrestlers look even worse than they are; lazy matches and out-of shape wrestlers exchanging holds for 10 minutes until someone interferes with a chair; re-running old WWF gimmics and angles just isn't that interesting; I thought Russo would make it better...now I'm thinking again...oh yeah, and as much as anything else, wouldn't u think WCW could afford some decent announcers?

WWF:
Sagging ratings this...PTC that...the fact of the matter is, in the world of the Big 3 there are 2 boys and 1 man.  The WWF is still the big dog, and even though they are losing some ratings and some sponsors, I think they are actually getting better.  I'm a huge WWF mark, and it's to the point where I can't stand to watch WCW even during the commercials of RAW.  Triple H behind the Austin/car angle?  I LOVE IT.  Triple H is right when he says he's the best in the business.  When it's his time to be funny, he's as good as anyone (yes even the Rock) but I have never in all my days seen a wrestler more over as a heel than Triple H.  To top it off, he's one of the only big time stars in the WWF who takes any bumps anymore.  He carries every match he has with the Rock (not knocking the Rock) and anyone else he wrestles with, and he always makes it look good.  Unfortunately, if anyone can drag down a match, it might be Stone Cold.  Steve Austin had a great run with the WWF title, but he has never been spectacular in the ring, (since his neck injury) and because of the neck, can't take any real bumps.  He's looked out of shape since he's been back too and his timing seems to be off...but the fact is, Stone Cold is still Stone Cold.  I'd like to see him do a clean job to Triple H at some point in this feud, and I'm not sure that will ever happen, but it would still be great to see.  Beyond that, The Rock is still good enough on the mic to make even people who aren't wrestling fans laugh.  He's great to listen to, and he does enough in the ring to still make him great.

How about our champion though, Kurt Angle?  I think he deserves everything he's gotten.  He was always a great athlete and has looked good in the ring since he first entered, and his mic skills have improved tremendously.  I give him alot of credit and i hope to God they don't give his title to the Undertaker.  As for the Undertaker, they need to make him the head of a new stable.  He can't carry his own weight in the ring anymore, I'm sorry but he's just not the same, and he really doesn't have the mic skills to make up for the lost ring work.  I also think a change back to the Undertaker of old would be best, but I don't see it happening.

Guys like the radicals, Kane, Jericho, the Dudleys, they are all victims of there just being too much talent to push everyone in the WWF right now.  Kane can't go anywhere until he gets a character who can speak.  End of conversation.  He's never been as dominating as they try to make him look.  He held the title for a grand total of 1 day.  He can't do interviews.  He doesn't do much in the ring.  He's not champion material until they change the character.  Benoit has had a push, but he can't speak well enough to hold a main event angle.  I think he's best served with a manager, or in a group like the radicals where he can let someone else do  the talking.  The Dudleys are one of my favorite teams and I would love to see them placed in an angle somehow with Tazz and Raven (I know, ECW nostalgia) but just any angle would be sufficient.  The tag division is loaded with too many teams to even list here, but I think they are all great, although im sick of Too Cool.  Jericho is still my favorite, but he still just doesn't fit into the mix well right now, he'll have his time though, he's just too damn good not to.

K. Quick (I think that's the name he's using) showed up on heat too, I saw this guy in a Dark match at RAW, and I'm tellin you - keep an eye on him.  He's great on the mic, he's got a great build and he's extremely athletic.  This guy could be a big timer for the WWF down the road.  And my final shout out for the WWF today is to the Right to Censor.  I'm so happy they finally got Stevie Richards an angle, and is he great or what?  I love it and I love to hate them.  It's shaping up to be a good PPV, and I am a big fan of the stable wars they have seemed to be building up to.  I know I'll be watching.

In conclusion...
If you actually made it this far, you should be commended.  You like the article?  You think I suck?  You wanna see the Real Deal spout off in person?  e-mail me here at raw208@... or else email the NWF at wrestlenwf@....  And don't forget to come to STATE PENN this Saturday, November 18th @ 8:30 pm - Live! from the White Building.  Also, if you know anyone who would be interested in sponsoring the NWF, email us at wrestlenwf@... and be sure to check out our webpage at http://www.empusa.net/nwf/.  Thanks again for reading, and I'll see you at the show. - and remember - I'm the Real Deal, and that's the way it is. ~ Real Deal

Nittany Wrestling Federation: RIOT 2000
8:30 PM - Saturday, November 4
White Building, Penn State Campus, State College, PA
FREE ADMISSION

Preview courtesy of http://www.empusa.net/nwf

You only have two more chances to catch the superstars of the Nittany
Wrestling Federation in action in 2000, as the final shows of the
semester have been scheduled for Saturday, November 4th and Saturday,
November 18th. As always, bell time is at 8:30 PM in the White
Building on Penn State campus and admission will be 100% FREE to
these events!

Here are the details that have been released to the public at this
time for this Saturday's show:

NWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
CHAMPION: "TOO PHAT" YUTZAK ARAFAT vs. FORMER CHAMPION: TOMMY GOLDEN

It was just announced on "Over the Top Rope" last Thursday that NWF
Champion "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat will be defending his title belt
against the man who stole the belt from his last year, Tommy Golden!

It seems that "Million Dollar Wendal," in an effort to dethrone NWF
Champion Arafat, has issued a special bounty to anyone who can defeat
him for the title! Word of the bounty spread like wildfire through
the independent ranks, and it was enough to lure former two-time NWF
Champion Tommy Golden to make his return to the NWF!

As said, this is Golden's first match in the NWF since being stripped
of the NWF Title last spring as a result of injury. Golden has shown
in the past that he will stop at nothing to be the NWF Champion! In
fact as you may recall, it was Golden who ended Arafat's first NWF
title reign last January. He orchestrated an elaborate hoax on
Arafat, leading him to believe that his girlfriend had been seriously
injured in an auto accident and taken to a hospital before his match
against Golden that night. A distraught Arafat left the arena, and
Golden was declared the winner and NWF Champion via forfeit.

Arafat and Golden have fought in tag team matches against each other,
including the infamous "Nittany Ladder Match" back in March, but they
have never competed in one-on-one action. And when Golden was injured
and stripped of the title, Arafat was denied his chance at revenge
against Golden. Finally Arafat will have his shot at revenge when he
and Golden lock up at Riot 2000!

PSU BLUE & WHITE vs. PENN $TATE GREEN:
Shawn Storm vs. "Simply Astonishing" Kevin KanEvil

Also in action, "Simply Astonishing" Kevin KanEvil will take on his
one-time friend, Shawn Storm. The two men trained together this
summer along with NWF Champion Arafat. When KanEvil betrayed Arafat
and Team Penn State at the first NWF show this semester, Storm was
also betrayed by the man who he had known as "Kevin Smith" but who
had lied about his name and virtually everything else about himself.

At the last NWF show, Storm defeated John Balsamo, and now he is
eager to score a victory for Penn State against the turncoat KanEvil
at Riot 2000. However, KanEvil has the backing of "Million Dollar"
Wendal and Risk Management, and that makes him a very dangerous man,
indeed.

John Balsamo vs. "Rapid Fire" Maldonado

Rutgers Revolution member John Balsamo will once again step inside
the squared circle, this time to take on "Rapid Fire" Maldonado. It's
been some time since the NWF has seen Maldonado, a man with a vast
arsenal of technical and martial arts moves. Balsamo would seem to be
the underdog in this match, but he has a powerful equalizer in the
form of the Revolution.

UNIVERSITY PARK CHAMPIONSHIP
Fumar vs. Mystery Opponent

The leader of the Revolution, Fumar, has also been scheduled to
defend the University Park Title against an unknown opponent. At the
last show Fumar mysteriously appeared wearing the UP Title, a belt
that everyone thought belonged to the injured "LiveWire" Dave Desire.
No one knows how Fumar came into possession of the belt, but he will
put it on the line at "Riot," and perhaps we will get some answers.

Also on tap...

One more thing to consider: Arafat threw a giant monkey wrench
into "Million Dollar" Wendal's plans to have the NWF Champion in the
Risk Management fold when he defeated RM member KanEvil at the last
NWF show. Wendal has already issued a bounty on the head of Arafat,
but what other diabolical schemes will he enact? Find out at Riot
2000!

BACKSTORY
NWF Champion Yutzak Arafat, angry at the happenings of the NWF's last
event fifteen days prior, challenged the man who turned his back on
him, the man formerly known as "Kevin Smith" to a match at "Playoff."
Arafat had specially recruited "Smith" along with Shawn Storm to join
him in his battle against the Rutgers Revolution. The three had spent
the entire summer training together, and Arafat genuinely felt a bond
of friendship with "Smith." However when a green-masked man nailed
him with a metal sheet and nearly cost him the title at "Chaos," and
that man later turned out to be "Kevin Smith," Arafat was stunned.

A gloating "Smith" revealed his actual wrestling name, "Simply
Astonishing" Kevin KanEvil, Thursday night to a live radio audience
on NWF's "Over the Top Rope Wrestling," which can be heard weekly
on "The Lion" WKPS 90.7 FM in State College. KanEvil displayed a
surprising amount of cockiness for a man who had only wrestled one
NWF match and taunted the champion, threatening to use nail Arafat
once again with the sheet of metal at "Playoff."

PLAYOFF
"Penn State Playoff" began with one of the co-hosts of NWF "Over the
Top Rope Radio" Dave Citro entering the ring. Citro recapped what
happened at the last show, when in one of the most unforgettable
moments in NWF history occurred as Mr. Wendal won $5000 a week for
life from a scratch-off game. In an instant, Mr. Wendal went from a
sorry, down-on-his-luck bum, to unbelievable riches. Citro said
tonight he would like to bring Mr. Wendal out to talk about what kind
of changes have occurred in his life since winning the lottery.

MR. WENDAL INTERVIEW
The fan's anticipated hearing Arrested Development's "Mr. Wendal" but
instead were shocked to hear Ted Dibiase's old
"Million Dollar Man" music hit over the PA instead. They were even
more shocked when Mr. Wendal emerged from the back wearing a black
suit and clean white dress shirt and tie. Upon entering the ring, a
puzzled Citro told Wendal, "You're not Ted Dibiase," to which Mr.
Wendal inexplicably pushed Citro and ordered him out of the ring.

Wendal then proceeded to recount the hardships of his life up until
that fateful moment when he won the win-for-life game. He had never
had a dime to his name…with the exception of the one he
panhandled.
And now he has everything a man could want, money, power, and of
course fame. Wendal talked about how money changes people, "it
changes people for the better," he said. "Those who have it, have
power and security, and those who don't are just a bunch of money-
grubbing peasants that will never amount to anything…much like
each
and every college student in this room."

"From now on it will not be me who is begging for money, but the
other way around. When I had nothing, all you spoiled college
students treated me like garbage, no one ever cared about me, and you
were to busy drinking and trying to be cool just so that you could be
accepted. This will no longer take place as long as Million Dollar
Wendal is around. From now the NWF will serve as an example of how
students should behave. There will be no more violence, no more
commotion, and certainly no more fun, for each and every one of you
freeloaders who come here show in and show out, and do not respect
the beatings that these wrestlers go through for your selfish non-
appreciative enjoyment.

"And for those individuals who say that money can't buy happiness,
screw you, you must be broke!

"From this day forward everybody's got a price for Million Dollar
Wendal."

By this time, the fans of the NWF were booing Wendal profusely and he
called out the challenger for the NWF Title later that night, Kevin
KanEvil, with the Rutgers Revolution's Fumar right behind him.
KanEvil came to the ring and shook hands with Wendal, and he too
badmouthed the fans and also the NWF Champion, his opponent and one-
time friend, Yutzak Arafat.

Kevin explained his actions of fifteen days prior when he nailed
Arafat with a metal sheet and nearly cost him the NWF title as
follows: "While only being here for a few months, I have already
noticed the fact that I am no longer a person. I am only a number,
just another buck that will go towards making the higher-up's here
happy. Perhaps my tuition is going to go to getting more parking
meters so that they can screw us students out of more money, or
perhaps pay for these employees here who are power hungry to take
another vacation. Well I am sick of it. And I have decided to do
something about it!

"With Million Dollar Wendal as my backer, my real friends whom you
will know about, and some assistance from the Rutgers Revolution,
this team now known as Risk Management, will take over the NWF. The
days of having fun, and doing what you want are over here in the NWF,
and it begins here tonight with your precious Penn State
Champion 'Too Phat Yutzak Arafat.'"

"Wherever I May Roam" by Metallica kicked in over the PA as "Too
Phat" Yutzak Arafat came out to ringside and grabbed the stick. "I
think I speak for everyone in here, when I make this simple
request…
shut the hell up. You tools come out here and whine, and complain
like a bunch of sorostitutes that just got shot down.

"So Mr. Wendal wins a few dollars and all of a sudden thinks he runs
roughshod over everyone and can tell everyone what to do..this coming
from a guy who makes right guard make a left turn!

"See Kevin, you want to come out here and be a hypocrite after all
that Too Phat has done for you. Well that's fine, tonight you will be
made an example of. Tonight, I will not only do it for Penn State who
you have insulted, I will not only do it for these fans who you have
insulted, but I will do it for everyone who has ever had to put up
with a snotty, repulsive, punk like you.

"So in case you forgotten just exactly where we are Kevin, let me
remind you… We are… Penn State."

Arafat left ringside, and so did the new stable of "Risk Management"
and we were set for Match #1!

RUTGERS vs. PSU: JOHN BALSAMO (w/Super Sausage Dino) vs. SHAWN STORM
In a battle of Rutgers vs. Penn State, newly anointed Rutgers
Revolution member John Balsamo faced Penn Stater Shawn Storm. Balsamo
became a member of the Revolution after winning a "Rutgers Pledge
Match" against Kid Crazy at the last show in controversial fashion,
getting outside interference from Revolution member Fumar. Meanwhile
Storm made his debut at "Campus Chaos" as one of the men that NWF
Champion Yutzak Arafat recruited to be part of his Penn State Team.
Storm's first match was a tough loss to Fumar, so he was looking to
get his first NWF victory with this match. The match finally came to
a conclusion when Balsamo tried a top-rope bodyblock on Storm, but
Storm countered it and got Balsamo for the 1-2-3 to earn his first
NWF win.

MIND & MATTER INTERVIEW
The self-proclaimed NWF Tag Team Champions, Don Juan Desanto and Dr.
Heresy, came to the ring unannounced and recapped how they claimed
the belts at the last NWF event when "The Damned" failed to show up.
Their scheduled opponents tonight, "Elements of Suicide," who were
trained by "The Damned," came out to the ring and interrupted their
spiel. They said revenge will be sweet when they win the tag titles
tonight for their friends "The Damned."

However, Dr. Heresy interrupted "Elements of Suicide" and he and
Desanto told them that because they had never even wrestled in the
NWF before, they would have to prove themselves as worthy contenders
by each fighting in singles matches before they got their shot at the
gold. "Elements of Suicide" agreed to the challenge and we were set
for Match #2.

FUMAR vs. CINNA (1/2 of Elements of Suicide)
Before the match began, Fumar told the fans that he was now a three-
time University Park Champion, thanks to Mr. Wendal, and pulled up
his shirt to reveal the belt around his waist! Everyone was in shock,
and as of right now the NWF website is not sure what exactly
transpired and why Fumar is now in possession of the University Park
Title. Afterall, the legitimate champion is "LiveWire" Dave Desire,
who is recovering from a broken collarbone that he suffered in April.
How did Fumar come into possession of the belt? We'll try to find
that out, and hopefully we'll have some clarification about that on
NWF "Over the Top Rope Radio" this Thursday at 6:30 PM on WKPS 90.7
FM in State College, PA. The show will also be available for download
on the NWF website.

During the match, Cinna and Fumar were locked in a back-and-forth
struggle. The tide turned when suddenly Desanto and Heresy came to
ringside. Desanto and Fumar distracted referee Dr. Tom Kennedy as his
partner Heresy entered the ring and executed a flatliner on Cinna.
Fumar was then able to get the easy 1-2-3, as "Elements of Suicide"
lost their first challenge match.

JOHN BALSAMO (w/Super Sausage Dino) vs. ONYX (1/2 of Elements of
Suicide)
Balsamo avenged his loss from earlier in the night against Onyx as
once again Desanto and Heresy played a part in the outcome of this
match. While Balsamo's manager Super Sausage Dino distracted Referee
Tom, both men attacked Onyx. By the time "Mind & Matter" were through
with him, Balsamo got an easy pinfall.

But "Mind & Matter" were not through as they continued to attack Onyx
after the bell, causing his partner Cinna to try and come to his
rescue. But it was to no avail, as "Mind & Matter" attacked him as
well. Both men were laid out in the ring, and after "Mind & Matter"
vacated ringside, "Elements of Suicide" limped back to the dressing
room as well.

NWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
"Million Dollar" Wendal's music suddenly began to play, and he made
his way to the ring once more. Mr. Wendal told the fans that tonight
Risk Management would capture not only the NWF title, but they
already were in possession of the tag team titles, and introduced the
Dr. Heresy and Don Juan Desanto as the newest members of his growing
stable. Desanto and Heresy told "Elements of Suicide" that they were
fighting champions, and that even though Cinna and Onyx lost their
matches, they would give them a title shot anyway.

Onyx and Cinna then made their way out to the ring, both men limping
noticeably from the beating they had just received from Desanto and
Heresy. Onyx says that perhaps they are not worthy of a tag shot
after all. That maybe Mind and Matter is the greatest tag team of all
time, or maybe he's absolutely wrong because they have never defeated
their opponents tonight… "The Damned!"

"The Damned" weren't even supposed to be there, but sure enough their
music hit, and Draven and Mad Dog came storming to ringside, much to
the surprise of everyone. Desanto and Heresy, as well as Million
Dollar Wendal, had looks of panic on their faces as the rightful tag
team champions entered the ring and the match began to crown the
undisputed tag champs.

This was a hot match as Mad Dog and Draven were in top form against
Heresy and Desanto. But "Mind & Matter" had an unfair edge
as "Million Dollar" Wendal remained at ringside and made his presence
felt, interfering for his employees whenever possible. Soon with the
interference of Wendal, Heresy and Desanto began to isolate Draven on
their side of the ring, preventing him from tagging in a fresh Mad
Dog. This went on for what seemed like an eternity, but finally
Draven was able to start the momentum going back his way, and he
cleaned up on both members of "Mind & Matter" before tagging in Mad
Dog. Mad Dog was like a bull in a china shop, demolishing both Heresy
and Desanto. Mad Dog and Draven double-teamed their opponents, with
Mad Dog slingshotting Draven into the corner, sandwiching Desanto, at
one point. However, just as "The Damned" were attempting their
finisher, Wendal distracted Referee Tom and Desanto entered the ring
and nailed Mad Dog in the back of the head with a folding chair,
knocking him out. Heresy executed a flatliner onto Mad Dog for good
measure, and "Mind & Matter" cheated their way to becoming the
undisputed NWF Tag Team Champions, much to the dismay of everyone.

NWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
CHAMPION "TOO PHAT" YUTZAK ARAFAT vs. CHALLENGER "SIMPLY ASTONISHING"
KEVIN KANEVIL (w/Mr. Wendal)
This contest between former friends, Arafat and KanEvil, was made
a "No Disqualification match" by orders of NWF Commissioner Samu
earlier in the week, and it did not take long for these two men to go
right at each other. The early parts of the match were a great mat-
wrestling exhibition, featuring many close pinfalls. Arafat had
numerous chances to end the match, but Fumar, who along with Wendal
were both at ringside, interfered liberally against Arafat, breaking
up all of his pin attempts on KanEvil. Although unfair, Referee Tom
was powerless to stop Fumar from sticking his nose into the match, as
it was perfectly within the rules of the no-DQ match.

Finally Arafat bulldogged KanEvil on the outside, and "Mind & Matter"
came running down to the ring. They tried to attack Arafat, but he
nailed them both with Camel Kicks. However it was not long before
they got back to their feet, at which point "The Damned" came running
down to the ring and a full-scale brawl erupted. "The Damned"
and "Mind & Matter" beat the hell out of each other, as Desanto was
the un-willing recipient of getting his face scraped against the
vents in the White Building.

Amidst all of the pandemonium, Arafat and KanEvil had disappeared and
then reappeared brawling on the second level balcony. They was a
flurry of punches being thrown by both men, and then KanEvil
attempted to throw Arafat off of the balcony down to the floor, but
Arafat prevented it. Arafat then wound up and nailed KanEvil with a
discuss punch that sent him falling off of the balcony down at least
twelve feet to the arena floor below!

The fans erupted and Arafat then stood arms spread out still on top
of the balcony soaking in the cheers. He then took to the air,
leaping off, and delivering an elbow to a prone KanEvil below!

Both men lay motionless on the ground for a few minutes as the fans
chanted "NWF! NWF! NWF!" repeatedly.

Finally Arafat dragged KanEvil back into the ring, and finished him
off with "Da Bomb" as he retained his NWF Heavyweight Title and the
fans went home happy.

Clearly this had to have been one of the top 5 matches in NWF
history, and those that saw it will long remember the incredible fall
that KanEvil took, the devastating elbow Arafat delivered, and what
value they both hold the NWF Title to put their bodies and careers on
the line for it.

The next NWF show will be held on Saturday, November 4th, and it is
entitled "NWF: Riot 2000." It will be held in the White Building, and
bell time is 8:30 PM. The NWF has scheduled the final events of the
fall semester on November 18th. As always, admission will be 100%
FREE to all events.

Nittany Wrestling Federation presents...
PENN STATE PLAYOFF
8:30 PM - Saturday, October 14
White Building, Penn State Campus, State College, PA
FREE ADMISSION

preview courtesy of NWF website: http://www.empusa.net/nwf

The Nittany Wrestling Federation will hold its next show on this
Saturday, October 14, and it is entitled "Penn State Playoff." It
will be held in the White Building, and bell time is 8:30 PM. As
always, admission is FREE.

NWF Champion Yutzak Arafat, angry at the happenings of the NWF's last
event, has challenged the man who turned his back on him at Chaos,
the man formerly known as "Kevin Smith" whose actual wrestling name
is "Simply Astonishing" Kevin KanEvil for "Playoff." Word is that the
Champion is demanding this match with KanEvil to get some revenge
after KanEvil attacked him with a cookie sheet and almost cost Arafat
the belt. To add to the intensity of this already volatile match, NWF
Commissioner Samu has ordered that this match be a no-
disqualification, no-hold-barred match!

The self-proclaimed NWF Tag Team Champions, "Mind & Matter" will be
defending their "belts" when they take on two men who were trained by
the legitimate NWF Tag Team Champions, The Damned. The opponents are
Cinna and Onyx, and collectively the pair is known as "Elements of
Suicide." Not much is known about this duo, but they had better be
prepared for the cheating and trickery that "Mind & Matter" are sure
to employ in this tag team match-up.

In a battle of Rutgers vs. Penn State, newly-annointed Rutgers
Revolution member John Balsamo will face Penn Stater Shawn Storm.
Storm made his debut at "Campus Chaos" and lost a tough match to NWF
veteran Fumar. Storm showed a lot of promise in that match, but
Balsamo will be a tough challenge making this an excellent singles
contest between two young and up-and-coming talents.

Also slated for "Penn State Playoff," Rutgers Revolution members Joe
Rules and Fumar will be in action! Fumar has also sent word to the
NWF that he will be making a special announcement about "why he is
the smartest wrestler in the NWF." We at the NWF Website aren't quite
sure what that is all about, but we'll all probably find out
at "Playoff."

And as always, there are sure to be some surprises in store
at "Playoff," and maybe even a few "mystery" guests!

Events are also scheduled for November 4th and 18th. Admission at
these events will be 100% FREE!

RESULTS Courtesy of: http://www.empusa.net/nwf

The first NWF show for the fall semester began with an announcement
from ring announcer Dr. Dave Parry concerning the triangle match for
the NWF Title. One of the scheduled participants, "Zero Gravity"
Mason Cage, would be unable to wrestle tonight due to "personal
matters." The match, which also included NWF Champion "Too Phat"
Yutzak Arafat and "Supreme" Lee Great, would now feature a new
participant to take Cage's place and to be announced during the show.

After Dr. Dave left he ring, "Supreme" Lee Great came out in a shiny
silver robe and talked about how after years of hard work he had made
it to the Nittany Wrestling Federation, and how finally some justice
will occur tonight, as he will become the first deserving NWF
champion the promotion ever had. He talked degradingly about how the
current champion Arafat actually cares about the fans, and how he has
school spirit and represents everything that Penn State stands for,
and just how much all of that makes him want to puke. Tonight, Lee
promised, a new era will be born as the time had now come for all the
fans to worship the Supreme One.

As Great was about to leave the ring, another man made his way to the
ring in a suit, and he introduced himself as Gino Giovanni. Giovanni
declared that he was the third participant in the title match later
that night, and how the only era that was going to be born tonight
was the Gorgeous era. He declared he would not only defeat Supreme,
but would crush Penn State's pro wrestling icon: Yutzak Arafat. Gino
insulted the crowd, and the two challengers for the NWF title looked
on the verge of an all-out brawl as Fumar's music hit over the PA.

Fumar and Rutgers Pledge Match participants John Balsamo and Kid
Krazy entered the ring. Fumar discussed the Rutgers Pledge and also
made another offer. The man who could take the belt off of Arafat
tonight, would also be allowed membership into the Revolution.
Supreme thanked Fumar for the offer, and then he turned to Gino and
told him that he'd walk out of the NWF tonight, just like he walked
in, a Loser. Another fight ensued between Gino and Lee, but the
Revolution broke it up as now Arafat's music hits, and Arafat appears
with Shawn Storm and Kevin Smith.

Thursday night on the NWF's Over the Top Rope Wrestling Radio Show,
which can be heard on "The Lion" 90.7 FM in State College, both Storm
and Smith were introduced as the men who would be watching Arafat's
back from now. Just like Arafat, they were Penn State students, and
they would finally help him even the odds against his long-time
rivals, The Revolution.

Arafat told Rutgers and his opponents that he intended to keep the
belt tonight, and as he concluded with "We are… Penn State," the
Revolution and Giovanni and Great tried to attack, Team Penn State.
Arafat, Storm, and Smith, cleared the ring and the other wrestlers
retreated back to the locker room.

RUTGERS PLEDGE MATCH: John Balsamo vs. Kid Krazy
The first match saw Rutgers Revolution member Fumar at ringside
observing the action as both Krazy and Balsamo wanted badly to join
the Revolution. Balsamo seemed to dominate most of the early going in
the match wearing Krazy down with submission holds, but Krazy was
able to turn the tide with the fans' support. Krazy unleashed some
offense of his own, executing ascending moonsaults from the
turnbuckles, amongst other high-risk moves. He threw Balsamo out of
the ring to the outside, and as Balsamo stepped up onto the ring
apron to re-enter the ring, Krazy hooked him up for a suplex over the
ropes and into the ring. However, Fumar grabbed Krazy's feet while he
was executing the move, allowing Balsamo to fall on top of Krazy.
Referee Tom Kennedy counted the three as Fumar continued to hold onto
Krazy's feet, and Balsamo was your winner and new member of the
Rutgers Revolution.

RUTGERS vs. PSU: Fumar vs. Shawn Storm
Penn State pro wrestler Shawn Storm was making his NWF debut against
one of the top NWF veterans and one of the leaders of the Revolution,
Fumar. The match was hard-fought with both men giving it their all.
At one point the two men battled outside of the ring and Fumar
slammed Storm down onto an exposed part of the arena floor. Fumar
then proceeded to remove the rest of the padding in the area and
attempted to slam Storm again, but it was Storm who countered and
Fumar fell with a sickening thud against the exposed surface. The
action proceeded back into the ring, and Fumar had Storm spread out
in the center. He then climbed the top rope and got tremendous height
on a legdrop that should have finished off Storm right then and
there. But Storm fought back and nailed Fumar with a bridging back
suplex and Referee Tom began to count as both men had their shoulders
down. Fumar was able to get his shoulder up just before the three
count, and he was declared the winner of the match, much to the
dismay of Storm. Fumar taunted Storm after the match, but Storm said
that he'd get his revenge on Fumar.

NWF TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
The next match was supposed to be between NWF Tag Team Champions "The
Damned" and newcomers to the NWF, "Touch of Reality." However
when "The Damned" were announced, it was "Dancing" Don Juan Desanto
who made his way to the ring instead, carrying one of the NWF tag
title belts. He explained that "The Damned" had run into
transportation problems, and after berating the crowd and the Penn
State Women's Fencing team who were on hand, he then explained the
scenario of why he was holding one of the NWF tag title belts. Back
in April at the last NWF show, Don Juan had substituted for an
injured Draven and helped Mad Dog retain the NWF title belts. He then
said that because of that, he should be one half of the tag
champions.

He also then said, that he should get to pick his partner who would
be the other half of the champions. Desanto welcomed back his long-
time partner Dr. Heresy to the NWF, much to the surprise of everyone.
Heresy had been forced into retirement due to suffering a series of
concussions last year. Heresy then ripped into the fans for not
sending him any "get well" cards or caring about his forced
retirement.

Both Desanto and Heresy, known together as "Mind & Matter" then
called out the Damned's scheduled opponents, "Touch of Reality." The
team, who is comprised of Jim The Messenger and Bob Steele, weighed
in at a combined 614 pounds, and they were joined at ringside by the
lovely Lana. Upon seeing their opponents, "Mind & Matter" were
wondering aloud how they got themselves into this match.

The match was a showcase for the power and the shear strength
of "Touch of Reality." Desanto, who himself weighs in at over 300
pounds, was lifted with ease by each member of "Touch of Reality."
Was it not for the double-teaming and other tactics such as
distracting the referee on multiple occasions, the match would not
have lasted as long as it did. But "Mind & Matter" were able to keep
themselves in the match and get in some offense of their own,
included in which was Desanto's patented knee drop. The match ended
though in a win for "Touch of Reality" by disqualification as Dr.
Heresy nailed one of his opponents with the NWF Tag Team Title belt.
Jim the Messenger and Bob Steele were furious at the way they won the
match and took it to Desanto and Heresy, clearing them out of the
ring. Even though they didn't win the titles, it was a successful
debut for "Touch of Reality" as they celebrated in the ring with Lana
and then made their exit. Heresy and Desanto, meanwhile, will live to
fight another day, and one would think that the rightful tag
champions "The Damned" would be in their future.

MR. WENDAL INTERVIEW
Next we had a special interview with the 1999-2000 NWF Manager of the
Year, and local resident panhandler, Mr. Wendal. Citro, from "NWF
Over the Top Rope Radio," conducted the interview. He asked Wendal
about some of his fondest memories about being in the NWF, and also
about how what kinds of interesting things he had gotten over the
last year from panhandling to NWF fans. Wendal replied that he had
gotten "a half eaten hot dog once, some fat chick offered me a piece
of puntang pie, but even I wouldn't eat that coming from her. And
just today I got this "win for life" ticket from some dude, but when
I tried to use it as a meal point they wouldn't accept it."

Citro told Wendal that it wasn't a meal ticket that he had but a game
piece lottery ticket and that he had to scratch off the card to
reveal if he had won any money. Ecstatic, Wendal scratched off the
game piece and then looked despairingly at the card and said, "Man
this sucks, I didn't win any money, I just got life, which is what my
parents always told me I was gonna get, and what's' worse is I got
three of them."

After Citro explained that Wendal had won $5000 dollars a week for
life, an excited Wendal did a cartwheel and declared that he
was "headed down to McLanahans to buy some new cardboard boxes for
the addition to my new home!"

RUTGERS vs. PSU: "As Seen on TV" Joe Rules vs. Kevin Smith
The second wrestler Arafat had chosen to watch his back, Kevin Smith
made his way to the ring first. As the Penn State student awaited his
opponent, Fumar came down to the ring with John Balsamo. Fumar,
pointing to Rules' new valet who was already at ringside, explained
that Joe was in the back, and that the "Sixty Minute Man" was just
lacing up his boots. Someone in the crowd remarked, "more like 60
seconds!" to which Kevin Smith added, "I think you are giving him 58
seconds on that one!"

When Rules finally arrived to the ring, he berated the crowd for
taunting his new valet before he and Smith finally locked up.
The "Most-Hated NWF Wrestler," as voted by you the fans last year,
pulled out every submission hold that he knew. Things were looking
bad for Smith, but he fought back. Towards the end of the match Kid
Krazy came to ringside and distracted Rules. Smith seized the
opportunity and sneaked up behind Rules, executing a roll-up and was
able to get the 1-2-3, much to the delight of the fans. Rules was
furious but Fumar, who had remained at ringside throughout the match,
stopped him from attacking Smith. Instead Fumar exited the ring and
talked to Smith briefly before he left the ring.

NWF TITLE MATCH: "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat vs. "Gorgeous" Gino
Giovanni vs. "Supreme" Lee Great
Finally it was time for the main event, and what a main event it was.
The NWF Title was on the line, and it was a triple threat match. No
tags were needed, as all three men were in the ring at the same time.
The winner would be the man to score the first pinfall.

The match saw a lot of near-falls as each man at any moment could
have been the NWF Champion. Also throughout the match, there seemed
to be a loose agreement between Giovanni and Great to work together
against Arafat. While most of the time this was the case, there were
many times when this partnership broke down and the two would go at
each other. If it had been a case of needing two pinfalls to win the
match, their strategy would have worked, but since it was sudden-
death, each man saw the wisdom of going it alone.

Towards the end of the match, Arafat began to gain the momentum. He
executed a suplex onto Gino that knocked Referee Tom down and also
knocked "Supreme" Lee Great to the outside. Arafat then locked in the
Allah leg lock onto Gino, and he began to tap out. But, the ref was
still down. Enter a masked man in green tights who came out of the
crowd and nailed Arafat with a cookie sheet, knocking him to the mat.
Great re-entered the ring and covered Arafat, and got a long 2 count
before Arafat somehow kicked out. Gino and "Supreme" began to brawl,
and Supreme got sent to the apron where he stun gunned Gino on the
top rope. Gino then walked into the waiting arms of Arafat, who
nailed him with the Sitar DDT for the 3 count and to retain the NWF
title.

The masked man, who had stayed at ringside to watch the ending of the
match, was irate at Arafat snatching victory from the jaws of defeat,
and he began to leave but Shawn Storm came out and threw him back
into the ring. Arafat ripped off his mask, revealing none other than
the man who he had brought in to join his Penn State team, Kevin
Smith! Arafat was shocked and furious and he hit the turncoat Kevin
Smith with Da Bomb before leaving the ring with Shawn Storm.

The next NWF show will be held on Saturday, October 14, and it is
entitled "Penn State Playoff." It will be held in the White Building,
and bell time is 8:30 PM. Events are also scheduled for November 4th
and 18th. As always, admission will be 100% FREE.

You can stay up-to-date with the latest happening in the NWF by
listening to "Monday Night Mayhem" every Monday night between 7-8 PM
on WEHR Cable Channel 21. For those who do not live on
campus, "Mayhem" will also be streamed LIVE over the internet in
RealAudio at the NWF website http://www.empusa.net/nwf. Besides the
latest NWF news, the show will feature previews for Raw and Nitro,
and recaps of Big 3 Pay-Per-Views.

Also don't forget about "Over the Top Rope Wrestling" which can be
heard on "The Lion" WKPS 90.7 FM in State College every Thursday
between 6:30-7 PM. This show is also available on the internet in
RealAudio at http://www.empusa.net/nwf. Alexander the Great, Citro,
and company bring you news and commentary on the Nittany Wrestling
Federation, the Monday Night wars, Smackdown, and more! Because most
of the NWF shows are on Friday or Saturday, "OTTR" will be your last

Nittany Wrestling Federation presents...
Campus Chaos 3: Triple Threat
Friday, September 29, 2000
8:30 PM - White Building, Penn State campus
FREE ADMISSION

Preview Courtesy of: http://www.empusa.net/nwf

Welcome back everyone to another exciting year of the Nittany
Wrestling Federation at Penn State! The NWF is entering its third
year of existence this fall and this year promises to be the best yet!

The NWF has announced that the first show of this semester will take
place on Friday, September 29 at 8:30 PM ET at the White Building.

Matches slated...

NWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TRIANGLE MATCH
CHAMPION "TOO PHAT" YUTZAK ARAFAT
vs. NWF NEWCOMER "SUPREME" LEE GREAT
vs. FORMER CHAMPION "ZERO GRAVITY" MASON CAGE

Two-time NWF Champion "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat will be defending the
belt in a triple threat match against the man he won the title from,
former Nittany Lion mascot Mason Cage, and a newcomer to the NWF,
Supreme Lee Great!

Cage has spent the entire summer fuming about the loss of the NWF
Title to Arafat in the infamous best-of-three falls match at VIP back
in April. As we have seen in the past, Cage will do anything to wear
the NWF's top prize, including turning on his one-time friend Arafat.
The master of the "Zero Gravity" Shooting Star Press will once again
look to achieve the top prize in the NWF by winning this match.

The addition of "Supreme" Lee Great to the mix will only serve to add
to the drama of this match. Trained by Afa the Wild Samoan, Great is
an exceptional in-ring performer who has held the WXW Cruiserweight
Title and lists his finisher as the Supreme Punishment. Great
impressed NWF scouts so much that he has been thrust into the NWF
Title picture with Mason Cage and Yutzak Arafat.

It is also rumored that NWF Champion Arafat, tired of being
outnumbered and ganged up on by the Revolution, has recruited some
backup in his war against the stable. Both of the men he recruited to
take up the cause for Penn State will make their debuts at Chaos!
With the strong ties that Mason Cage has with the Rutgers Revolution,
Arafat will most likely need that backup to equalize outside
interference.

RUTGERS PLEDGE MATCH: John Balsamo vs. Kid Crazy

Balsamo, the champion of Italian-Americans everywhere, returns to the
NWF in the Rutgers Pledge Match to take on Kid Crazy. Crazy, who
lives up to that name with some incredible high-risk maneuvers, made
his debut at the NWF's last show in April, as he tried to impress
Rutgers Revolution member Joe Rules. However Rules seemingly turned
on the daredevil Crazy, attacking him after they lost a match for the
NWF Tag Team Titles. Kid Crazy, though, has been given a second
chance at joining the Revolution but Balsamo wants in too, and only
one man will be inducted into the Revolution while the other man will
be turned aside.

MYSTERY CHALLENGE: "As Seen on TV" Joe Rules vs. mystery opponent

Rules has held the NWF Tag Team Titles with fellow Rutgers Revolution
member Rick Silver, and he has also held the University Park Title.
He's been on "The Jerry Springer Show" and he's generally gotten
under the skin of every NWF fan for the past two years. The "Most-
Hated NWF Wrestler," as voted by you the fans last year, is on a
mission to regain NWF gold. But before he can climb back to title
contention Rules will have to deal with this mystery opponent,
whoever he may be.

Also on tap...

Don Juan Desanto is scheduled to make an important announcement
at "Campus Chaos" as well. What "Dancing" Don will have to say is
anyone's guess, but it will be entertaining to say the least.

High-flying Fumar, the former NWF University Park Champion and former
NWF Tag Champion, is also slated for action at Campus Chaos 3. The
last time we saw the Revolution member he won a brutal "Special
Challenge Match" against NWF Referee Tom Kennedy in April at
Retribution. Will the bad blood between Kennedy and Fumar spill over
to the new year? And exactly who will be Fumar's opponent at Chaos?

Touch of Reality, the tag team of Jim The Messenger and Bob Steele
which has been taking NWA-New Jersey and other Eastern US indy's by
storm, will make its NWF debut at Campus Chaos as well. Jim The
Messenger has wrestled with or against such ring greats as The
Steiners, Bam Bam Bigelow, Sandman, and Tommy Dreamer just to name a
few. Together they weigh in at a combined 614 pounds, and joined by
the lovely Lana, they will be looking to make a big impression in
their first NWF match.

RAW IS WAR: BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA
by John Lyons

After 17 years of airing programming on the USA network, the WWF
tonight begins a new era when they air their first "RAW IS WAR"
telecast on TNN, tonight at 9/8 p.m. CT from State College, PA.

After an Unforgiven PPV last night that raised more questions than it
answered, will we find out some of those answers tonight on RAW?

Namely:

1. Where exactly does Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley stand? Though she
helped her husband HHH win when she low-blowed Kurt Angle, it was
obvious to everyone that Steph was showing remorse for what she had
done. When HHH kissed her after the match, she looked like she was
struggling to break free from him, and after the kiss she wiped her
mouth as if to say "YUCK."

2. Moving to a new network, the WWF is going to be pulling out all of
the stops. That means that the WWF Title will most likely be on the
line. The Rock successfully defended the title last night against
Benoit, Taker, and Kane, but each man still has a legitimate beef for
the belt. Benoit particularly, who had been announced as champion and
had it reversed in a moment of deja vu, could be in line to battle
The Rock once more. Or it could be a wildcard.

3. We still don't know who hit Austin with the car at Survivor
Series. Shane-o-Mac showed us a video clip of Steve Blackman nailing
Ken Shamrock with a car a few years back, and insinuated it was him
that nailed Austin. Of course this brought both men to the ring, and
Austin, not buying Shane's lame story, stunned Blackman anyway. Shane
celebrated with Austin with a few cold ones, but it wasn't long
before he too fell victim to the Stunner, three times. Leaving us
back where we started.

4. What part will Raven play in the Tazz-Lawler feud, if any? Will
Raven seek to form another Flock, Nest, or other safe-haven for
birds? And who will be a part of this new group?

5. Will Rikishi, after whooping on Chyna last night, make the full-
fledged heel turn tonight, or will it be Chyna who turns heel and
sides with Eddy, or will it be Eddy who turns back to face in support
of Chyna against Rikishi?

6. Where is the X-Pac-Y2J feud going, and why are we being subjected
to more of it?

7. Will your favorite and mind, Billy Gunn come back, or will he
mercifully stay on the shelf, fading into obscurity?

Tune into TNN tonight to find out!

MONDAY NITRO: RUSSO'S "DREAM" COME TRUE?

Tonight, Vince Russo will have the chance to fulfill his "dream since
childhood," becoming the WCW World Champion as he battles Booker T,
in his hometown of NYC.

Will Russo book himself champ on a night when Raw debuts on a new
network? It could happen. Either because of Russo's ego, or shock
value, or both.

Also, will Nitro be able to capitalize on WWF's move to a new
network, and people not finding Raw, or people not getting RAW at
all? Survey says: ratings will show a slight increase, if any. But
that's why they play Monday Night Wars, folks.

Also on Nitro:

Torrie Wilson, Paisley, Tygress, Major Gunns, Chiquita and Chae in
bikinis.

Goldberg + an old nemesis of Russo's will return.

Sting vs. Lance Storm for the US Title

Tag Team Title Battle Royal: Kronik, The Filthy Animals (Rey and The
Juice), The Jung Dragons, 3 Count, the Natural Born Thrillers (Mark
Jindrak and Sean O'Haire), The MIA (Cpl. Cajun and Lt. Loco), The
Harris Brothers and the Insane Clown Posse.

Welcome back everyone to another exciting year of the Nittany

The NWF has announced that the first show of this semester will take
place on Friday, September 29 at 8:30 PM ET at the White Building.

Matches slated...

NWF Champion "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat will be defending the belt in a
triple threat match against the man he won the title from, "Zero

entire summer fuming about the loss of the NWF Title to Arafat in the
infamous best-of-three falls match at VIP back in April. As we have
seen in the past, Cage will do anything to wear the NWF's prize, and
Arafat will have to use his ring smarts to make sure he stays one
step ahead of Cage and retain the belt. The addition of a mystery
opponent to the mix will only serve to add to the drama of this
match. Who will this mystery opponent be? Will it be one of the NWF
regulars, or perhaps a highly-touted newcomer? The NWF Website hopes
to have info on this third participant as soon as it becomes
available!

Also slated for the card, "As Seen on TV" Joe Rules will be in action
against another mystery opponent. Rules has held the NWF Tag Team
Titles and also the University Park Title, and the man that the fans
love to hate is on a mission to regain NWF gold, but he best not
overlook his opponent, whoever he may be.

Don Juan Desanto is scheduled to make an important announcement
at "Campus Chaos" as well. What "Dancing" Don will have to say is
anyone's guess, but it will be entertaining to say the least.

And in the biggest news of all so far about Campus Chaos 3 will
involve the naming of an interim NWF Commissioner! Apparently
Commissioner Samu has appointed someone to keep law and order in the
NWF while he takes a leave of absence from regular duties. The exact
identity of this interim NWF Commissioner is so hush-hush, that his
true identity will not be revealed until Campus Chaos!

We will have more information about matches and participants as we
draw closer to Campus Chaos 3!

Also very shortly we will be announcing the fall lineup for the NWF's
radio shows, Monday Night Mayhem and Over the Top Rope!

NITTANY WRESTLING FEDERATION presents...
RIOT 2000: FEATURING FORMER WWF TAG CHAMPION AND NWF COMMISSIONER
SAMU!
SUNDAY, JULY 16, 2000 - 2 PM - HUB LAWN

Riot 2000, the next NWF show, has been confirmed for Sunday, July 16
at 2 PM outside on the Hetzel Union Building Lawn in State College,
PA, on the campus of Penn State University!

In breaking news, the NWF Commissioner and former WWF Tag Team
Champion Samu has announced that he will return to the NWF ring at
Riot 2000 to team up with NWF Champion "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat to
take on the team of two former NWF Champions, "Wrestling's Golden
Boy" Tommy Golden and "Zero Gravity" Mason Cage!

Samu has mostly dealt with NWF matters from afar since being named
commissioner, but it now seems as if the ring great will take matters
into his own hands against two of the NWF's most notrious rule-
breakers Tommy Golden and Mason Cage!

Speaking of Golden, Riot 2000 will mark "The Golden Boy's" first
return to the ring since being stripped of the NWF title due to
injury. It was Commissioner Samu's decision to strip him of the
title, and clearly Golden will have revenge on his mind when he gets
into the ring with him.

Also how will Golden feel about teaming up with the man who won and
subsequently lost the NWF Title he had to vacate, Mason Cage? These
two men have never gotten along in the past, but as we have seen at
recent NWF events Cage is a changed person. In fact Cage expressed
admiration for Golden on the night he turned his back on Penn State
and his friend Arafat. Despite their rocky past, one would suspect
that these two can put their differences aside to take out two common
enemies: Commissioner Samu and NWF Champion Yutzak Arafat.

And what about the NWF Champion Arafat? He is returning from surgery
and no one is quite sure how well he will be able to perform in this
epic tag match. Will ring rust play a factor in Arafat's return, or
will "Too Phat" come back better than ever?

Also at Riot 2000, there will be a singles encounter with "Dancing"
Don Juan Desanto taking on Rutgers Revolution member "As Seen on TV"
Joe Rules. Rules is still stinging from his and Rick Silver's loss of
the NWF tag straps a few months ago. You may recall it was Desanto
who acted as special referee that match when The Damned defeated
Silver and Rules for the titles. Rutgers believed that they had paid
off Desanto to call the match in their favor, but it was Desanto who
pulled a swerve on Rutgers and helped the Damned win the tag titles.
Desanto outsmarted Rutgers that night, and to further add fuel to the
fire, he teamed up with one-half of The Damned, Mad Dog, to defeat
Rules and Kid Crazy! After the match Rules attacked Crazy for his
failure to help him get revenge on Desanto. Clearly Rules is a
dangerous individual, and with the help of Luxurious Lynne in his
corner Desanto will have to continue to rely on his smarts and his
toughness.

Also the NWF Tag Team Titles will be on the line as the current
champions The Damned, Praxxus and Draven, will meet two as-yet-to-be-
named opponents. The Damned have been one of the most successful NWF
tag champions ever, as they have taken on all challengers and won in
convincing fashion. Will The Damned be able to once again retain the
NWF Tag Titles, or will some upstart team finally be able to end
their reign?

Keep checking the NWF Website for more details as we approach July
16th and Riot 2000!

RIOT 2000
SUNDAY, JULY 16, 2000 - 2 PM - HUB LAWN

Riot 2000, the next NWF show, has been confirmed for Sunday, July 16
at 2 PM outside on the Hetzel Union Building Lawn in State College,
PA, on the campus of Penn State University!

The details of this free-per-view extravaganza are still in the
works, however "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat will be back from surgery to
make his first defense of the NWF Title since winning it from Mason
Cage at "VIP," the last NWF show. No one quite knows what kind of
ring condition Arafat will be in, and whoever decides to step up to
the plate as his first title defense may be able to take advantage of
the ring rust factor.

Also the NWF Tag Team Titles will be on the line as the current
champions The Damned, Praxxus and Draven, will meet challengers Fumar
and Mason Cage. Fumar is no stranger to the tag titles as he has held
them in the past, and Mason Cage is looking to regain some NWF gold
after his painfull loss of the NWF Heavyweight Title to Arafat. Will
The Damned be able to once again thwart the Rutgers Revolution's
attempt to steal their titles? Or will Rutgers finally succeed?

In another tag bout, "Dancing" Don Juan Desanto will join forces with
a mystery partner to take on Rutgers Revolution members "Sterling"
Rick Silver and "As Seen on TV" Joe Rules. Rules and Silver will be
looking for revenge against Desanto for the loss of the NWF tag
straps. You may recall it was Desanto who acted as special referee
the match when The Damned defeated Silver and Rules for the titles.
Rutgers believed that they had paid off Desanto to call the match in
their favor, but it was Desanto who pulled a swerve on Rutgers and
helped the Damned win the tag titles. Desanto outsmarted Rutgers that
night, and one would suspect that the "Dancing One" will be equally
cunning in his choice of a mystery partner, making this a great tag
team match-up.

Also, a returning Tommy Golden will also be present at Riot 2000! The
former NWF Champion was stripped of the title due to injury. Will he
attempt to regain the title that he lied and cheated his way to back
in January?

If that wasn't enough to convince you to make the drive to central
PA, the NWF is negotiating with a top WWF star to further add to the
already stellar card!

Keep checking the NWF Website at its new locations

and Riot 2000!
