I think that is all we have done so far. We started off needing LBs
and O-Line and a RB, now we need a WR, a starting QB for the future,
and a CB. Tank Williams might be a slight improvement over Chavois.
So here comes the draft, and what position do we address? I never
thought we would be thinking of a QB or trading up for anything other
than to snatch a RB. With Chester Taylor, the RB is more or less
done. We will need to replace Kleinsasser soon when he gets cut
because the need for him after they picked up Tony Richardson is
done. He carries too much salary so unless he re-works his contract
we won't be seeing him as a Viking next year.
There is so little regard for the offense for this team that I feel
the new management doesn't care who they bring back. All those years
of an exciting offense and no defense might be flip flopped next
year. Who will be the number 1 WR now? Koren Robinson has only 1
good year in his career and that was 5 years ago. He was a great
special team kick returner, but would you risk using him in both
positions and making him a starting WR? Williamson hasn't proven
much yet and Marcus Robinson and Travis Taylor were given chances to
step up in the past and their games were inconsistent. It will be
interesting to see what happens.
As for the uniform, I am scared to look at what it will be.
