Reading the amount of passion in Al's message about moving to a new
location makes me incredibly sad for a few reasons. #1) I am human,
which by nature makes me selfish. I live right in Crystal City and
the location of NovaVikes sealed the deal on where I lived in the
metro area. #2) If you want to think about the whole group, I
challenge you to remember there are several members who are true
metro rats without cars. FedEx field is more accessible than
Herndon! #3) S&S is leaps and bounds better than Fast Eddies ever
was. That place was a trash hole at best. If you want to complain
about clientele not that are not Vikings fans, those
at Fast Eddies were less than desirable. The draw of S&S to me was
that it's family friendly. I felt like the group was more inclusive
than at Fast Eddies where no one talked to each other.

I doubt that what I say will change Al's mind. Just know that if you
do move to Herndon, you will lose one of your most dedicated, loyal
fans for reasons beyond her control. And that is fine. But sad. I
will miss the group and the atmosphere you all provide.
