Because of the recent Spam attempts on this site, I have restricted
Membership, so anyone new will have to apply to me via email. I hope
this will eliminate most of it, but I make no guaraantees.

On another note, I am hoping to see the Viking faithful this year
come down and root on the Purple Gold and White. We are starting the
season on National TV against the Cowgirls, then Monday Night vs the
Eagles. 2 tough games which should test our mettle right away. We
might have a huge surprise or 2 for you this year. One will have to
be a surprise because truthfully we might get any warning on that at
all if it does happen. Sorry for the tease, but hey it is what it
is!

Joel and I have agreed to purchase some bumperstickers for our
group. We are hoping the money raised in the sale of these splendid
beauties will in time lasso us some Viking visits of some kind. The
bumpersticks are a meager $2, with 1/2 of the money on every
bumpersticker going back to Joel's wallet for his purchase. The
other $1 will go to the club for said visits. In the past we have
had many Viking greats come down to the club meeting hole and hope to
reproduce these great events. But unfortunately it takes hotel,
travel and meal expense to do that. We are not trying to fleece you
with these bumperstickers, only trying to provide you with a better
club. And at $2 a sticker you are getting a fine bumper ornament to
say the least. :-P

On another note the Stars and Stripes link is being remodel with a
brand new look, so it is down for the forseeable future. We still
have directions in the file section if you need them.

I look forward to seeing you all very soon, and look for updates at

Message Board and have fun with the Site since it is yours.
