Re: Let me be very clear on this

Viking Fans,

We must be logical and not emotional about this important issue. The most
important position on the field is the QB. The Vikings need more effective play
from this key position that has been lacking for several years.

I am getting a little tired of all the Favre talk as well but am interested in
this prospect. The Vikings should have addressed this critical need a long long
time ago. Playing around with the Favre issue indicates that the organization
is not comfortable with Sage or T-Jack to take the helm and apparently Booty is
not close either.

The Z-Man wants/needs to win now! This team has many key players at the peak of
their career today and all conditions are set for success with the exception of
the QB. The Z-Man can't continue to operate the team while playing in the
Metrodome and needs a new stadium in order to improve the revenue stream.
Clearly, he is not one of the richest owners in the NFL and has most likely
suffered deep losses in his real estate ventures. All the Favre talk and
interest is a sign of true desperation to win now - not tomorrow in order to put
pressure on the tree hugging nuts in Minnesota who don't understand the value of
this team. Therefore, I understand the situation fully and would continue to
cheer for my team with or without Favre at QB - desperate times call for
desperate measures.

Lets just keep our fingers crossed that the T-Jack experiment is dead - we
simply can't waste more time with his incompetence. Without Favre, we must go
with Sage or take a shot at Booty. Both seem to be reasonably intelligent, show
some leadership traits, and won't run around the field like a chicken with it's
head chopped off.

GO VIKES!!!

do not understand why the Vikings have entertained the thought, let alone asking
him to play for the purple, gold & white. I just don't get it.

Viking if he is playing for us. I will not be a part of this slap in the face
to all Viking fans. If you think the idea of bringing in this old washed up QB
will bring us a Super Bowl, then all the power to you. I would feel like I
would be selling out to bring in the one guy in the NFL that we as Vikings' fans
have been conditioned to hate. I will not sell my soul for a Super Bowl. I
rather the Vikings have a losing record for the rest of my life than have that
selfish bastard play for us.

throws it on his Mississippi doormat. You know that redneck will eat it. Then
I will not have to hear anymore news stories on this and I can look forward to
another Vikings' season.
