I couldn't agree more! I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw Favre fall
apart at the midway point last season. At his age he would make a great
back up or even QB coach but he doesn't have the physical capability to make
in through a 16 game regular season and then be effective in the playoffs.
Even though I've spent the last ten years loathing this guy, I still think
this is a dumb move. The Vikes are taking a step back by signing/playing
Favre. If Minnesota fans want to see interceptions then all we have to do
is look at what we currently have. The moral of the story is this. In
order to maximize Peterson the Vikes will need to stretch the field. In
order to stretch the field we need to be able to throw the ball deep
consistently and since we don't have a Moss like receiver, a So So QB just
won't be the answer. What is most upsetting to me about this move is that
it will be another meaningless season for the Vikes and as a fan another
season without a legitimate shot.
