It is unbelievable to even think of the Vikings moving. But this on

This guy has laid out a perfect plan for getting a team. He is
building a stadium WITHOUT public funding. He is doing it in LA. The
2nd largest city in the US. It has 10x the number of people than Mpls
alone. Remarkably it does not have an NFL team.
Minnesota has a $1B (that's BILLION dollar) deficit:

I hardly think that the Minnesota legislature is going to budget a
stadium in this current economy. I also doubt that taxpayers who are
losing their homes to foreclosure at a record pace are going to want
to foot the bill either. Futhermore, now the people are watching some
rich guy pick up the whole tab at another city. Why should they feel
like paying?
A new stadium should've been built in the late '90's. There is no way
one is going to be built now in this economic climate unless some
richer than God dude (or dudes) step up to the plate (e.g. Richard
Schulze or Cargill MacMillan Jr) and somehow work out a deal with Zygi.
Yeah, right.
How sad is it that it might be between Buffalo and Minnesota...the two
teams that have the notoriety for having lost 4 superbowls? Haven't
we suffered enough?
Say your prayers and hope its the Bills who go. Then we can listen to
Chris Berman recap the games by saying:
"Nobody circles the wagons like...the LA Bills".
