A veteran QB would just take snaps and learning experiences away from
Jackson. Manning, Aikman, and other great QBs had terrible first
seasons on bad teams. You could put Brady or Manning on this team and
they are not winning the Super Bowl, so why bring in a scrub backup
like Kelly Holcomb when you can play the kid who you think will be the
future of the club.
Otherwise, I agree with your prediction. The road schedule look
tough, and that will really restrict the number of possible wins this
year.
