If you're talking about spending on free agents, then I agree. But
keep in mind that they also ponied up big bucks for Hutchinson, C.
Taylor and signed McKinney and K. Williams to large dollar long-term
deals. The Wilfs are in the upper echelon of owners financially but
they're also businessmen. They've committed to spending big on a new
stadium but the people in the Minneapolis area better wise up soon or
this team is gone and should be. Time is running out and there's no
way this team renews a lease on the obscenity that is the Metrodome.
