Al, Rusty and all you other pessimists:
First I absolutely believe the Vikings will get as many wins as last
year. After all, Troy Williamson has new glasses, Drew Henson has
been resigned and those great free-agent acquisitions (what are
their names...) will provide our potential "coach of the year" with
all the tools he needs on offense (and with the playing time
Tarvaris got last year, he should certainly be in Probowl form).
I predict the Vikings will trade down, possibly out of the first
round all together, for additional picks in the 2nd and 3rd round,
when they can draft truly noteworthy collegiate football stars who
otherwise might have been available in rounds 4 thru 6. I do
believe that sending everyone to their draft guides, in order to
find that those player are not even listed, will be one of the 2007
NFL draft's finer moments.
Yep, really looking forward to the draft and this year's season.
We'll have to find out where Sean and Dana keep the remote and will
need to know where the mute button is located. The 2007 NFL Viking
season might be better without the sound...
See you next month,
Keith
