Re: [northstarleague] Keeper review

I like keepers but my opinion is usually on the low end for being taken
seriously cause everyone just thinks I am Terry's lacky. The only thing I ask
is that if we scrap keepers then all draft picks are returned to thier owners. I
really don't think it would be fair that I gave up my number one pick for a
keeper that I won't get. If the draft order stays as is and we scrap keepers
then so be it, I will adapt. The reason I liked keepers is that it gave us more
time to hang out and it made the trading deadline a day of great anticipation. I
remember Karl once saying that draft weekend was more about hanging out then
"winning". Again it doesn't matter to me other than it means I will be on the
phone longer since I can't attend the draft this year. Just my thoughts.

forfiet the pick corresponding to the round the kept players was drafted in. If
you want to keep your first three round studs, go ahead, but then you lose you
first three round picks next year. Every year the draft is 25 rounds, but your
kept players are placed on your roster pre-draft in the round they were drafted
in.

I absolutely forgot about draft pick trades. In this case, I would advocate phasing out keepers. I made a draft pick trade myself involving getting a keeper...
