Here is the payout information from last year.  I don't think we agreed to change it.

Quoting The Commish:

"As far (or as near) as I can remember, the following represents payout information for the Northstar League 2006:

Each person put in $50, for a total kitty of $600.

26 weekly winners of $10 each ($260)
1 overall winner of $70 ($70)
1 non-winning division leader ($30)
$10 to each team in winning division ($60)
-----------------------------
Home Run Derby ($120):
Winner $70
2nd place $30
3rd place $20
-----------------------------
Playoff Challenge ($60)
Advance to LDS 8 x $3
Advance to LCS 4 x $3
Advance to WS 2 x $8
Win WS 1 x $8

Prizes accumulate in post-season, so WS winner actually gets $22.

This is an unofficial list. I don't recall the exactitudes of such. If something needs to be changed, let me know, otherwise I will chisel it in stone and put it on the website for permanent record."

Everyone put in $50 this year. To the best of my recollection, here's the way it's supposed to be divvied:

$30/each to NSL ($360) - $10 per weekly winner, overall winner pockets the remaining kitty ($100)
$10/each to Divisional challenge ($120) - $20 to each team in the winning division (East)
$5/each to HR Derby ($60) - 30/20/10 split for top three finishers
$5/each to Playoff Challenge ($60) - $2 for making playoffs, $4 for advancing to LCS, $8 for advancing to WS, $12 for winning WS. Prizes accumulate (WS winner gets 2+4+8+12 = 26)

The payouts:
Johnny Paycheck - $210 ($60 weekly wins, $100 league prize, $30 HR derby, $20 East wins)
Jim - $50 ($50 weekly wins)
Mike - $82 ($50 weekly wins, $10 HR derby, $2 Angels, $20 East wins)
Greg - $50 ($30 weekly wins, $20 East wins)
Vic - $10 ($10 weekly wins)
Mark - $2 ($2 Phillies)
Randy - $20 ($20 weekly wins)
Terry - $42 ($10 weekly wins, $26 Red Sox, $6 Diamondbacks)
Ken - $32 ($10 weekly wins, $20 HR derby, $2 Cubs)
Rob - $32 ($10 weekly wins, $2 Yankees, $20 East wins)
Paul - $20 ($20 East wins)
Karl - $36 ($10 weekly wins, $6 Indians, $20 East wins)

$14 left for the Oreo fund for the Rockies winning the NL pennant and nobody picking them.

By the way, the Twins open the season at home vs. the Angels on Monday, March 31.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Boss Goose
