Although we will be taking bookings for our first two racing holidays of 2010
until January, we would be grateful if you could let us know as soon as
possible if you might be interested in going on either of these two tours. This
is particularly important for our 9-day trip to the Dubai World Cup (23rd - 31st
March). The 2010 renewal of the world's richest race is sure to attract more
interest than ever before due to it being staged at the world's newest and most
futuristic racecourse - Meydan.

We will need to book hospitality packages etc very shortly and therefore if you
would like to join us on this holiday of a lifetime then an early booking is
advised. Full details can be found on our website at
www.clarksonracehorses.co.uk . When you get onto the site please click on the
Holiday tab and you will be able to access full details of the trip as well as
download a colour brochure.

With regard to the Kentucky Derby and 'Bluegrass' tour, the Kentucky Derby will
take place for the 136th time at Churchill Downs in Louisville on Saturday 1st
May 2010 and we are able to secure some prime viewing seats if booked well in
advance to witness `the most exciting two minutes in sport'. Combine that with
the opportunity to visit the world's finest bloodstock which resides on some of
Kentucky's leading thoroughbred stud farms near Lexington. There will also be a
visit to the world famous Kentucky Horse Park, a working horse farm of about
1,200 acres dedicated to man's relationship with the horse. Again full details
can be found on our website at www.clarksonracehorses.co.uk

Should you have any questions about either of these racing tours or our trips
later in the year to The Velka Pardubicka (8th - 12th October), The Melbourne
Cup (25th October - 9th November) and The J & B Met Handicap - South Africa (1st
- 11th February 2011) then please don't hesitate to give me a call on 01995
605790 or 07802 764094

Kind Regards

Paul Clarkson

Dear NRC Member/Supporter

Our last preview night of the year takes place at Haydock this Thursday Night at
7.45pm with the National Hunt Season/Ten To Follow competition being covered by
a great panel including Mark Howard, Paul Fergusson, Andy Gibson and Mark Ball.

The evening will be held to raise funds for the Injured Jockeys fund and if you
can attend that will be a big boost to this deserved charity.

Jack Berry MBE will be selling his latest book (Better Late Than Never) with all
proceeds to the IJF whilst the club will also be selling IJF Xmas cards,
Calendars and Diaries on the night.

Colin Turner has also donated 8 great racing prints/photographs (mostly signed
/limited editions) which will also be raffled for the IJF.

Entry is just £5pp and your support for this event will be greatly appreciated
by both the club and the IJF. Non members will be most welcome. A cash bar is
available as usual.

Whilst writing there is still time to join in this winter's Saturday Naps
Challenge competition and the Club's 10 to follow Syndicate - full details can
be found on the club's web site
http://www.northernracingclub.com/ForthcomingEvents.htm or you can join at the
preview night next week.

* If you are unable to attend the preview night but would like to purchase
either the Jack Berry book of IJF items then please contact
info@... to arrange either collection from Sale (Cheshire)
or postal delivery.

Good punting and best regards

Phil Evans
