FEB 8th MEETING - 10 YEAR TRENDS

Previous race trends can often help provide a shortlist of potential
winners in the current year's races - hopefully these brief pointers
will assist racegoers at Carlisle today. Only three of today's races
have records for a minimum of three years - they are:

2.20 2M 4F Nov Hurdle. Favourites have a 37% strike rate with
longest s/p 14-1. All past winners aged 6 or 7 yrs with 6yo having
75% record. Last run usually after break of at least 17 days with
4th or better finish seen on all but one occasion.

3.30 2M 1F H'cap Hurdle. Favourites have a 67% strike rate with all
s/p`s 7-1 or shorter. L Lungo is leading trainer with 2/3 wins. All
had been rested at least 45 days since last race and finished 5th or
better last time out. Weight range seen between 10st 9lbs and 11st
9lbs.

4.05 2M H'cap Chase. Favourites have only a 10% strike rate. All
winners aged between 7-10 yrs although 8yo are the most prolific age
group providing 5/10 winners. With one exception all had finished
5th or better on last completed run having been rested at least
14days since last outing.
