Haydock stages its best flat card of the season today and with no
premiership footie to distract is assured a bumper crowd.

My three on this card are as follows:

Locbuie 2.05 - this race has a godd record for 3yo and well backed
runners. Also past winners tend to have consistly good form in at
least the last three races. Sendintank is tissue favourite after yet
another win yesterday but this looks much tougher and the frequent
races must surely take their toll soon!

In the feature race at 2.35 Ive gone for Tante Rose which looks good
ew value at 10-1 albeit stable has been quiet. 4yo have best record
in the race and possibly a high draw will be an advantage in this
larger than usual field. One Cool Cat seems the horse to beat but it
has been inconsistent. Somnus maybe wants it a bit softer and its a
long time (if ever) that a horse has won this twice.

Third selection is in the 4.45 where Tutle Patriarch looks to be a
late improver and whislt race is competitive there are several
running again very soon or coming back from a break which can often
just take the edge of their latest form.


Moving onto Kempton my three here are as follows:

3.15 Alkaased - taken to beat the in and out Badari and the yet to
race this season Mamool who may just need the race.

4.25 Kerashan is a slightly more tentative selction. Those that have
raced alreday do not seem quite good enough thus looking at the
unraced horses to find something to win 1st time out. The Stoute yard
is not the most prolific 1st time out yard but the jockey has plenty
to prove and easing down to give the horse a gentle starting race is
surely not an option at present!

5.25 Red Damsoon is last of my trio. However Id like to see the money
down for this so if it drifts in the betting (likely fav) this would
be a concern.

Finally for today three selections at Thirsk.

Some trappy races here - in races of 7-8 furlongs a lower draw can be
an advantage so using this factor Ive gone for two in the divisions
of the 7f maidens - CHANTACO and ROBINZAL.

Third selection is in the big handicap of the day where the in form
yard of E Vaughan can hopefully keep the run going with ASALEEB .
