Hopefully these brief pointers will assist members in drawing up their
shortlists for this year's races – the favourite's record is shown in brackets
after the race name/details:
Wednesday

1M 2F Handicap for 4yo+ (20%): 4yo are the best age group with 6/10 wins. R
Fahey and S Bin Suroor are leading trainers with 2 wins each. A middle draw
(stalls 6-10) appear slightly favoured in this race.

7 Furlong Handicap for 3yo (30%): B Hills is the leading trainer on 2 wins. Only
one winner had odds greater than 10/1. A low draw (stalls 1-5) appears to be
advantageous with stall 2 providing 4/10 winners.

1M 2F Musidora Stakes (Grp 3) for 3yo fillies (50%): Leading trainers are J
Noseda, S Bin suroor and M Stoute on 3 wins each. Only one winner had odds
greater than 4/1. A middle draw (stalls 3-4) may carry a slight advantage with
stall 4 supplying 3/10 recent winners.

6 Furlong Duke of York Stks (Grp 2) for 3yo+ (33%): R Hannon is the leading
trainer with 2 wins. The preferred age group is 5yo with 5/10 wins. A high draw
(stalls 10+) would appear to be a disadvantage with stall 6 providing 3/10
winners.

1M 4F Handicap for 4yo+ (15%): A low draw (1-6) appears a big advantage in this
race with stall 3 supplying 3/10 winners. 5yo is the best age group with 5/10
wins.

5 Furlong Novice Stks for 2yo (25%): Only run over this trip since 2005. K Ryan
has won the race twice albeit has no runner this year. On limited data so far a
high draw (stalls 5-6) would appear to be a disadvantage.

1M 2F Handicap for 3yo (30%): A middle draw (7-13) would appear to be a slight
advantage. 6/10 winners also won LTO in current season.
