shortlists for this year's races – the favourite's record is shown in brackets
after the race name/details:
Wednesday

5 Furl Lily Agnes Stakes for 2yo (35%) Six won last race and only ywo maidens
have won the race. Seven drawn in stall three or lower – best draw record is
stall 1 with three wins. Only two winners had SP's greater than 8/1. Alan Berry
and Richard Hannon have both trained two winners.

1M 3F Cheshire Oaks for 3yo (55%) – B Hills & M Tregoning are leading trainers
with 2 wins. Stall 4 has best record with four wins with stall 1 providing three
winners. No winner had raced more than once in current season. Last six winners
finished 1st or 2nd on last outing.

2M 2F Chester Cup (20%) – M Jarvis & B Hills have both won twice. All aged 7 or
younger. Five of last six winners were making seasonal bow and all of these
finshed no better than 5th on last run.

5 Furl Handicap for 4yo+ (0%) – E Alston is leading trainer with 3 wins (all
Damalis) with D Nicholls sending out two winners. All winners drawn in stall 8
or lower with top draw being stall 6 on four wins. Best placed last run seen was
4th.

1M 4F Handicap for 3yo (40%) – M Johnston is leading trainer with two wins. Last
five winners all won on previous outing. Last nine winners were all well backed
at odds of 6/1 or shorter.

1M 2F Maiden for 3yo (60%) – J Gosden & B Hills are leading trainers with three
wins whilst M Stoute has two wins. All finished 5th or better on last outing.
Only one winner had SP greater than 3/1.
